Always seem to flatter to decieve, plenty of decent players but just don't cut it consistently.

I imagine the death row records suge knight wannabees in the UK were concerned he was turning their scene into a laughing stock.
-
He deserved a good shoeing after acting like a prize arsehole on soccer am the other week. A total fool. Made you wish when those blokes shot him they'd have done the job properly.

I'll probably watch more than last time, it should be good football and the kick off times are a lot more convenient than they were in Japan/Korea in 2002. Two per day will be my limit though, I think watching three games in 24 hours is a bit of a stretch.

You're right mate, that and it's race is one of only a handful to be shown on network tv in America got it in the headlines. Totally agree about how infuriating it was flitting between cricket and racing on 4 too, and I like both. Should have been just concentrating on one or the other.
-
It should definitely be on terrestial television. I think they're risking losing a generation of youngsters to the game. Which is particularly stupid as we've our best team for years, and interest is as high as it's ever been after the Ashes win.

I got one when I became a homeowner a few years ago. It's worth doing, wasn't sure about whether the royals getting anything that wasn't in a will if you shuffle off was an urban myth or not, but it motivated me to get it sorted. Wasn't a difficult or too expensive thing to do either.

McCoist and Townsend are normally stood in the way. 127871[/snapback] Well Townsend is an uber media whore these days!

Politics, rock and roll for ugly people.

It's a pretty awful standard, I generally switch on just before kick off and have the sound down at half time. And they never show who's on the bench either, which I think is another black mark against them.

I think he's finally started to look decent in the last few games. So if that's his settling in period over, and he'll get some more top class team mates for next season, Chelsea's going to be even further ahead of us. I am predicting great things from Amdy Faye next season though, that he'll move back to Portsmouth. That'd be fucking great

18 points seems very harsh. Teams haven't got anything like as much as that for similar offences, somebody in charge doesn't like the club I reckon.

The Sopranos is a fantastic show, imo the best drama series ever. I don't know if I'll ever manage it, not least because it'd take feckin ages to do it, but I'd like to have a go at watching all the episodes one after the other. Just get a load of beers and snacks in over a long weekend and have a go at doing that.

Nice one Jimbo The little guy got in through a turnstile apparently, one of the operators said he saw him going through. Wasn't reported if he paid or not like

We're going to lose a huge amount on Boumsong whatever happens. It's turned into a nightmare deal, bad for the supporters, and the man himself who seems like a decent bloke. Very Newcastle United for it to work out like this.

BNP turmoil in row about 'ethnic' candidate
Albert Kirkey replied to BlueStar's topic in General Chat
the new bnp with a softer side? I bet some of those telephone conversations would have been funny as fuck to listen to -
He's alright apparently, conscious when he left the ground for the hospital and think they're just keeping him in as a precaution.
-
According to a lad I know that was there, he was being attended to for over 20 minutes, and paramedics from outside the stadium got called in. The other players ended up putting their tracksuits on to keep warm as the delay was so long, and it was gone ten when the game finished.

Supposedly was/is poking Cilla Black though, so his judgement can't be good all the time

Embrace to sing England World Cup Song
Albert Kirkey replied to Dr Kenneth Noisewater's topic in Newcastle Forum
Bound to be shite, they've very little talent and the singer couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. -
It'll be canny, much like Wigan this season it'll be an opportunity to see Newcastle play shite and get turned over on my first visit to a new ground. Pathetic 1-0 defeats are us.
-
What did he expect would happen, misguided cretin. Nice to see (I counted, might well have been more) three coppers outside his house dealing with the media 'scrum' yesterday too. God forbid they'd actually do some proper police work, waste of manpower having them there

One of Alan Oliver's greatest ever pieces, he had him signed sealed and delivered, shame for him Bobby didn't!

I think the story around Cantona at the Owls was he came over for training, but it was bad winter weather at the time, and they'd only seen him indoors. Francis wanted to have a look at him outside on a proper grass pitch, but by the time he could Leeds had come in. A football director would be a good idea, works very well on the continent. I also think it's a bit wrong to say having one at Newcastle would have stopped Bellamy signing for us. There might have been some negative stuff banded around about him when he signed in 2001, but to say he was thought to be a wrong un at the time isn't right.

Money talks. He'd score goals for Bolton though, provided his gammy knee holds up.
