  1. TBF its a long way to go on a monday night for a televised game. Good luck tonight. Am looking forward to next season with you Barcodes fielding a team with passion, swagger and total focus - just like Big Al was when he played his best football (for us). I sympathise totally with the posters on here who are feeling nervous and unable to settle today. Have been there many a time with BRFC and am not totally convinced that we won't be in a similar predicament come the last game of the season versus West Brom. So, I hope it goes well, that you sing your hearts out for yer lads and that the only Pompey Chimes to be heard are the sounds of Calamity James dropping some whopping clangers Yours in sport. A fellow football fan. WIR Cheers mate (Not too sure how much Danny B will like you thinking he's a Toon fan ) No die hard Gooner Would like to be called a Toon fan ah Danny haha Up the arsenal!!!!!!!!! I hear him cry!!!!! Is it school holidays again already. Pitiful banter.

  4. Be warned, if the bet comes in then you're banned. Power crazed.
  5. The good news for you boys is that I have bet on Pompey for this. 3-1 was too much to resist. With my betting form of late you are nailed on for three points. Good luck BTW.

  7. Really scary testament on the BBC: I'm a specialist doctor in respiratory diseases and intensive care at the Mexican National Institute of Health. There is a severe emergency over the swine flu here. More and more patients are being admitted to the intensive care unit. Despite the heroic efforts of all staff (doctors, nurses, specialists, etc) patients continue to inevitably die. The truth is that anti-viral treatments and vaccines are not expected to have any effect, even at high doses. It is a great fear among the staff. The infection risk is very high among the doctors and health staff. There is a sense of chaos in the other hospitals and we do not know what to do. Staff are starting to leave and many are opting to retire or apply for holidays. The truth is that mortality is even higher than what is being reported by the authorities, at least in the hospital where I work it. It is killing three to four patients daily, and it has been going on for more than three weeks. It is a shame and there is great fear here. Increasingly younger patients aged 20 to 30 years are dying before our helpless eyes and there is great sadness among health professionals here. Antonio Chavez, Mexico City
  8. Considering a round of golf is 20 quid for four hours entertainment. There is fuck all value anymore. I remember when kids tickets were a fiver.

    Oh dear

Jeez Hova if you are going to make something up, at least make up something that doesn't make you look a raging hom. What a weirdo.
  12. If you had only listened to us about the pigs.
  13. I really think a shit storm is coming to football and you all may be kissing ashleys backside, championship or otherwise.
  14. How many points do you get for moral victories? Give a shit. We're safe,we played them off the park. Rather the plastic sanitised mancs win it than the orrible scouse so fuck it.
  15. you will never see as corrupt cunt of a referee as howard webb tonight. It became an embarrassing toward the end. I have a vague memory as a child of my old man writing a letter to the fa about how decisions always go the way of man utd at OT. The fans are such plastic idiots as well. Massive moral victory today.
  16. Fucking hell I remember my grades perfectly, you can't have done very well.
  17. Fact: Tottenham are the best team in London and Chelsea are the worst - the figures can't lie Forget Champions League semi-finalists Chelsea - Guus Hiddink's side are the worst on results against fellow Londoners this season while Euro hopefuls Arsenal can only stand and watch as the real kings of the capital sit astride their throne. And the fact it's their bitter North London rivals Tottenham will add to Arsene Wenger's sense of despair. Harry Redknapp has not only rescued Spurs from a fate worse than death - trips to Doncaster and possibly Leeds or Millwall - and reached the Carling Cup Final, he's also fired the White Hart Lane outfit to the top of the London League table. Only Fulham have beaten Tottenham in eight derbies this season while Chelsea have taken just three points from five matches. Only Arsenal can equal Spurs now - but they'll have to beat Chelsea at the Emirates on May 10 to do so. The Blues will have to win two of their last three - they also travel to West Ham and entertain Fulham - just to avoid the wooden spoon and consign the Hammers to the basement and the resulting summer of Cockney fretting and wistful bubbles being blown into the air. Much of the damage was done before Hiddink's arrival at Stamford Bridge but even he has tasted defeat in a derby - 1-0 at Spurs - but he at least has 270 more minutes than Luis Felipe Scolari has to put things right. Yet Hiddink can console himself with the knowledge that at third in the Premier League table, Chelsea are the top dogs in the 38-game marathon, just ahead of Arsenal. And Tottenham may top the London League, but at ninth they are actually the lowest of all the capital's sides behind West Ham (7th) and Fulham (8th). THE TABLE THAT MATTERS TO TOTTENHAM - THE LONDON LEAGUE P W D L PTS Tottenham 8 3 4 1 13 Arsenal 7 2 4 1 10 Fulham 7 2 2 3 9 West Ham 7 2 2 3 8 Chelsea 5 0 2 3 3
  18. No, you fool. I miss Torres' witty banter
  19. FYP How much did you pay for him? Sure it was something around the fee for Xisco if not that he surely hit around the £5m mark. 4.7m. Looked lively in preseason but got a bad knock. Has scored 4 goals this season and is only young. Im backing him like I did Gomes and look how stupid Tom and Stevie look now. you cannot say that about anyone tbh. Thats some lame banter you got there.
  20. It depends what standard the kid is playing in TBH. When I saw Messi at 16 he was bossing a game against a full strength top league team not some kids tournament. I played against Kevin Rapley (Palace, Brentford, Notts County) at School level and he was head and shoulders above, he looked a world beater. He didnt quite make it. I also saw Nathan Tyson play as a kid and he looked amazing. In my opionion there are certain players who can look good against it with the big boys at 16...those are the ones who are going to be special. Rooney, Messi et al are those kind of players.
  21. We shouldnt be comparing Ronaldo with Messi anyway. Messi has three years on Ronaldo. I first saw him play at 16 and you could tell then he would be the best in the world then.
  22. What about deporting people who arent citizens? You get the same for brawling in the Algarve. Get a grip Rob its embarrassing.
