1. They were having a debate on Radio 5 this morning about whether the producers shouldn't have put the lass from Eastenders in knowing full well she's an alcoholic. Some anal middle class woman then sent an e-mail in saying they hope someone dies on I'm a Celebrity to quench the disgusting appetite of those stupid enough to watch. Oooooo...get her! Bet she still watches it.
2. Shouldn't that be 'weptathon? 58858 NO
3. These last couple of years have brought more meaning to the phrase 'up the Gary Glitter'...
4. Spitting double of Dennis tbh. 58842 Totally agree. She had her hair slapped back when she'd washed it the other night and I swore it was Dennis. I actually quite like her. Glad to see Tony Costa helping to back up the boy bands can't actually sing theory. His singing was shocking, outsung by Ricky ffs.
5. On the same subject, I get a strange muffled clunking noise from the front right wing of my car when I turn sharply right. And no, it's not me knocking people over. Is it mice?
6. If I get 6 numbers up in the lottery I'm sure everyone on here would be agreeing with everything I say. 'Souness is GREAT' 'Yes, sir, whatever you say master.'
7. Ah, poor Ruud, sacked for piss poor man management yet again and now thrust upon us this week cos he's got fuck all else to do with his time. A class player, but a bit of a wanker as a bloke.
8. Punish all for a minority of wankers? Not fair imo.
9. Ross Noble is someone I've tried really hard to like but I just don't get it. I've no doubt he's canny funny, but I just can't get into him. My boss's husband went to school with him and says he was a right annoying twat, apparently his act is just the way he would go on at school.
10. My mate loves Lee Evans, not in a gay way, but he loves him. Personally, his act reminds me of my mate one night after he had a bad E, which coincidently was actually far funnier than any of Lee Evans material.
11. We'll do anything for the draw tbh.
12. So, is Jason Orange gay? I always thought they camped it up for the gay market but none of them were gay. I don't remember Jason being so camp at the time.
13. Jimmy Osmond has about 6 kids or something, although he is a little sweet, although not as sweet as Jason Orange. The lass from Eastenders looks like she's got the cold turkey shakes like, which is a shame really. She's obviously got problems and maybe shouldn't be playing them out in public.
14. Boumsong was doing ok, not spectacular, but ok. Then after the Manure disaster he seems to have lost his confidence. After Brambles mistake at the weekend we've now got two under pressure low confidence centre halfs which means yet another season of keystone cop defending I reckon. Stephen Taylor is a good centre half, but it seems a lot of pressure is being heaped up on him and I worry about his treatment when he makes a big mistake. Saying that though, he's overated and treated differently anyway due to his roots.
15. Plus, I'm only 12 but I went when I was like 6 months old and Newcastle lost that game so that makes me the greatest supporter in the world ever and therefore my opinion is FACT.
16. N-O is GREAT. So fuck off the lot of you.
17. Is anyone esle finding the whole Chris Evans - Billie Piper relationship strange and tedious? I think both the man and lady doth protest too much. I suppose he'll say that having her on the show is a joke that we're just not getting, but I personally think it's weird. Their overcomponsating for something.
18. Thanks again everyone, we're getting there. Friday is going to be hard but we've heard there's going to be a fair few there. Amazing, he'd hate the attention. I'm dreading contacting the club about his season ticket, I want to take it over and sell mine on for the rest of the season but I don't know the ins and outs of it. Just another one of those shitty jobs you're left to do. We also applied to go to Wigan in the cup so I suppose we'll find out today if we've got tickets. PS Cath and Sammy - thanks for the text, meant a lot. Cheers again everyone.
19. Thanks everyone, I'm a pretty realistic person by nature so I'll be alright. It hurts like hell, I'm going to miss the crap out of him, but I know time is a healer. We've been comforted by the fact he died in his sleep and felt nothing. Weirdly I spent my last day with him on Friday in the pub with my mam and my brother and sister. Maybe it was meant to be.
20. Cheers lads, I've found it on MP3 as well. It's put a smile on my face sitting here listening to it. I thought it was a bit stupid at first but listening to it now just sums him up. Always wanted the last laugh. 'Just remember the last laugh is on you.' Legend my dad.
21. I'm not going to be on this week, just to let you know that my dad died suddenly on Saturday morning. A lot of you know that I've been going to the match with him for the last 20 years, so I'm a bit of a lost at the minute to say the least. apart from holidays I've never gone without him. Villa at home is going to be weird. I just thought it relevant that he get a mention, seeing as it's his fault I've been obsessed with the pile of crap I watch every week. Just to pay tribute to him, he was there in 69 for the Fairs Cup Final and was one of the few who was glad to see Wembley knocked down as every time he went we got stuffed. Anyway, I came on to ask a favour, he wanted 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life' to be played as everyone comes out the cremetorium. Does any have it or a link to it on MP3 I could download to burn onto CD? I'm shite at the t'internet. Thanks again anyway, and I'll be around next Monday for more lift abuse and to continue ranting about all things toon, a trait that was passed down to me... Cheers everyone SLP
22. May - It's a disgrace, when I was a proper player in a proper team in the 80's we played 42 games a season. We would have survived in those days.
