Well, the match is on Monday and no one's made a thread yet, so here goes! My first ever one. Such fun. Raylor, Simpson, and Krul are all out, an Colo and Tiote are doubtful. Not looking good for us, and I'm not looking forward to seeing Fellaini and Jelavic running against a centreback pairing of Perch and Taylor Anyway, here's how I'd like us to line up. ------------Cisse------ Ba---------------------Ben Arfa -----------Cabaye --------Jonas---Bigi Anita--Taylor--Perch--Santon -----------Harper Although I think we'll probably see the 4-4-2, seeing as we're away and will be looking to shut up shop with key players missing. Hoping for a win, but I'd be very happy with a draw given ours and Evertons form and the injuries. 1-1 draw, Taylor to score.

Even so, the crosses that Cisse scored from were almost all whipped in from the byline to his feet, not these deep crosses aimed at the heads of Ba and Cisse that we've seen in the last few matches. For Cisse to thrive (and Ba too, really) they need the ball slipped in to dangerous positions by the likes of Cabaye and Ben Arfa, and we just aren't seeing that yet.

I still think we'll get Douglas. The reason we haven't heard anything about it is because we can't have him over until the end of August anyway. If we can get him or another CB, and a 3rd/4th striker, I'll be happy. Anything else is a bonus.

I've downloaded the iPhone version of FM 2012, and it's quite underwhelming. Has anyone else here played it? It's basically just doing transfers and setting formation, lineup, and making substitutions. Can't even set whether you want to have a player play more offensively or defensively, which is annoying. Still, passes the time on the bus!

Right, meant to put Borini in on the right instead of Bellamy. I still think they're looking for a striker, as he wont want Suarez to play centrally, Carroll looks to be frozen out, and other than that they haven't got much else. Maybe Dempsey? But I really hope they sign Allen. He's exactly the type of player they need to fade into mid-table obscurity.

I don't think the model theyre pursuing is feasible at that level. When you're Man City it's alright -- you're winning trophies and progress every year. But give it a year or two of not qualifying for Europe, and these highly paid mercenaries will want out.
