  1. We have gone full circle then. It's that cyclical notion of luck that I was eluding to in my original post. If the solution itself occurs through chance, I wouldn't complain. It does seem appropriate and apt though for the solution to luck be luck itself.
  2. Order isn't the way of the universe, infact the opposite is true wherever we look. This shoudn't be unsettling once you accept the mind is the only thing that creates order. Untill quantum physics came along we used to think that we saw order in nature, but we now know that nature is chaos. Man can only be happy on this planet if he convinces himself that behind it all there is meaning, whereas the more we find out the more we realise there is no meaning...To any of it... You clearly studied Philosophy, ha. Anyway, I agree with you here. However, there must be a solution - as I said we need to change the way people think. How we do this is the issue.
  3. I have thought of what you say as well. What if the world is just thrust upon us in its current form? As in, what if the world came into being as we know it just now? Apparently, this notion is more likely than the highly ordered system of the planet in its early days that we normally imagine it to be. Although off-topic, perhaps it bears significance if it indeed is the case to why the world isn't so ordered as it should be?
  4. Nah, I am not moaning. I simply used university as an example. It is one of the many things in my life, including illness which I have been unlucky about. The amount of time I have spent going to the hospital in the last three years has been ridiculous and it is not because of one illness either. Enough of that, I am talking about the bigger picture. Also just like to point out, sure you point to first-world problems but problems are only relative to the person. Ofcourse, living in Britain, I am never going to experience hunger, etc. That doesn't necessarilly mean that people's issues in this country are any less relevant. As I say, life is inherently unfair but there must be a solution. Think of how much humanity has progressed since the dawn of time. I would be a fool not to say it is far-fetched, but I certainly think there is a solution.
  5. Man is doomed on this planet. There is no way we're gonna make it. Enjoy it while you can. There has to be a solution. For every barrier that there is, there also is an answer. Some bright spark will one day manage to work it out.
  6. Don't you find it so cruel that you can go through life and it always seems to benefit a small few? No matter what you do, how hard you work, it's always out of your hands. Dependent on others, whether it be your employer relieving you of your duties, your application to university/job being dependent on an admissions tutor or such-like who doesn't have the slightest inkling about you. Some may point towards an interview, yeah ten minutes is really going to assess someone.... It's strange, going by my own experiences, I always tend to have the worst luck. Most of the time, I look back and don't think such has happened because of a lack of effort but because there's that cyclical luck factor which dictates your life from start to finish. Everything that happens good/bad is chance, you can manipulate the luck factor by maybe a negligible amount, 10%? Beyond that, there is not much you can do. Just thought I put this up for debate. Do you agree or disagree? If so, why? As we move forward, are there any solutions to this predicament, somehow bringing upon a fairer society? I am not talking about politics, economics, etc. Ultimately, even these clowns have taken upon a job that is significantly beyond the remit of their power. All they can do to gain any credibility is instead of feeding false promises, they come out and just say the fucking truth. They would certainly gain my acknowledgement, honesty the great expression of character. There is a significant psychological/moral problem that we need to address and it is has to come at lower-levels, not at superficial ones. What I am saying is that there possibly is a solution to all our problems. We need to change the way people think, not brainwash them but call me crazy, we need to reprogram ourselves in such a way that most of these worries will cease to exist. Now, this has to be done by every single individual and one man/woman on his/her own can't do anything. We need an united voice but at the same time, we need to regain the individuality that makes each and one of us so great. How this will happen? I do not know. Will I look for the solution? Most definitely. Discuss.
  7. There's still about £20million of the Carroll money to spend, until that gets spent, he's still a cunt.
  8. Still £20million + to spend, money which we haven't seen.
  9. Ba Ba Dembas, will you score some goals? Yes sir, yes sir, we are two handfuls. OR Yes sir, yes sir, we have two bags full.
  10. you mean the same repetitive deluded posts that have been made for over 4 years now ? Did we just have a breakthrough? Fuck off, you Ashley apologist.

    Demba Ba

I think there is a release clause but for more than £10million. Remember we didn't technically pay 0, we paid £4-6million for agent fees, etc. As a result, the release clause is probably more.
  12. Ben Arfa, that's why you play him and not fucking E.T
  13. It's quite funny, thanks for posting it.
  14. How do you know? If so, when is Williamson back?
  15. Flair

    Bruce sacked.

We have a far superior squad at the present moment. Unless there is significant change in the squads, it doesn't matter who they get, we will finish above them not only this season but quite a few. It's not even up for debate and any Mackem who deludes him/herself to think otherwise is a tool. We are better in every department and apart from Sessegnon and Bendtner (as it happens, doesn't even belong to them), none of their players would get in our first 11.
  16. Well put across. How does that explain the fact that Asian population of England and France is probably the same if not more than the black populations, yet there are literally NO asian players at all, yet blacks make up maybe 25%. You will find that asian parents push their children in education rather than sports. It's a cultural thing. You will also find that asians (Indian and Chinese) children tend to perform the best in public examinations also. Where they are pushed, it's often cricket, etc. There is a genetic element aswell, asians tend to be less built. There are more Pakistani's than Indians and Chinese put together though in the UK. They certainly don't come in to your education remarks, looking at places like Bradford and Oldham. Spanish are less built look at their midfield but they do ok. Indian 1,053,411 1.8% Pakistani 977,285 1.6% UK statistics above. That said, I know a lot of Bangladeshi and Pakistani people do claim to be 'Indian' when there aren't. In any case, I guess when you look at Pakistan with just cricket and its corruption, you don't need to really answer why they aren't so good at football. As for the UK Pakistanis, I can't offer an explanation. Though, what you do say seems to be a case of 2+2=5 to me with regard to the Spanish.

  18. I will tell you why. Unlike in England, there is no meaningful welfare state. It results in people who have to give up their talents to work to raise a living, even at an early age. Vast majority of these countries are poorer and though, countries like India have many millionaires and billionaires, there are many more living in and around the poverty line. These people can't afford the coaching that you will get in England, etc. This coaching does help significantly. In England, hopeless people who have no interest in the sport, are given multiple chances, there they don't even get one chance. Those who have talents/money are focused on their education because if you don't make football, you are nothing. You need something to fall back on. More to it, the governments are often raged in corruption. Money that should be spent on sport, enters the back pocket of a lot of the government. As a result, football funding is virtually 0. Climatic factors also play a part, can you expect to be playing meaningful football in the Himalayas or in 40 degrees? In England, we are fortunate to have green grass, on which we can slide about, etc. There, it is often dusty, hard ground. Make one meaningful slide, probably injure yourself. There is also a genetic element probably aswell. I could go on and on about the reasons why.
  19. Fucking hell, atleast he's honest here. Him acting the big man, 'so I slammed the phone down.' No you didn't.
