As far as I'm aware the only surprise Ashley had was the money owing on past transfers. How much could that really have been? I understand it perhaps reducing the amount he had set aside for transfers but I don't believe it's the entire reason we've spent next to fuck all on transfers. didn't MA (take with grain of salt) say he'd paid down about 110 million in back transfer payments....presently 1/3 of the clubs (projedcted worth) ....thats what I get for trusting what had been printed

I was still pursuing my career as a ski bum so I had no frame of reference, it wasn't until i went to school that I even thought about it and so by that time the theories were coming fast and furious, so my opinion may be coloured by that, although I do try and be as unbiased as I can

Well Ive heard/seen most of the theories, I've seen the Zeitgeist movie, but I'm still not sold on the gov't killing that many people (maybe i'm too naive) but I wouldn't put it past them to stand by and do nothing (let it happen), what happened it is exactly what they were waiting for and pretty much paved the way for the entire rest of W's term as (and I use the term loosely) President. Sorry didn't really answer the question......in my opinion they did fall pretty damn quick, given the over all design strategy that is drilled into us, there didn't appear to be much redundancy in the building when it fell, and I think that the odds of both towers falling straight down would surely be pretty high (astronomical probably) What do you reckon?
