First time I thought Southgate got the tactics wrong. Playing 523 rather than 4231 leaves Kane massively isolated up front. Also lends itself to dropping into a back 7 which is exactly what we did for large chunks of the game. Bellingham, Grealish, Foden, Sancho, Mount, Saka with another 12 months under their belts and England will be amongst the favourites for the WC

I went to watch the Germany match last Tuesday with a bunch of mates who had been at the England vs Sri Lanka game earlier in the day. Was meant to be going back out to watch the Ukraine match with them on Saturday but I was already out with the wife and some friends. Turns out one of them caught COVID at the cricket and the rest of them have had to isolate for the Semi Final and Final Downside is I'm having to watch the match in the house with family and kids!

I can honestly see the match being delayed or postponed at this rate Why do we never see this sort of stuff in any other countries?
