Don't worry your purty little head about it but Renton reckoned Apple were finished so since then I've been putting forward arguments why the business is solid. Only Gemmill on here has Google Play but what he failed to mention is the cost of the VPN required to get the US service. It's an interesting topic for the music fan and having seen the stuff you listen to I wouldn't really class you as an interested party. That part of the debate was interesting and informative I thought. As I've not passed comment on the iPhone 5, not claimed Apple make better products than Samsung etc this would be another example of where people suffer from the attention deficit engendered by the very devices being discussed. I own a 4s and am happy with it but that is separate from the real interesting debate in the modern technology sector. Apple v Google, Open v Closed, uniform v fragmented, secure v virus etc.

Who cares when you bought them at 500.

I reckon AAPL will hit 750 by mid Q4.

You wouldnt even know what a P/E ratio is without googling it, you think an earnings call is ringing someone about a job. But never mind that, the post you just said was utter rubbish merely says the stock market prefers Apple to Google and the price reflects that. Those are facts not opinions. Tit.

Where did I say that HF? One of my professional interests is business analysis, I like the Apple business model not the Google one. So does the rest of the world, the app issue is not considered stock price relevant and hasn't been for a reason.

Went to a rural village in Normandy for a wedding 2 weeks ago, the maps app on ios5 got us to the wedding and hotel no probs. We went to St Leu Le Foret last weekend and again accurate and fast. Couldn't understand how I lost the data connection but the app kept working. When something works perfectly like that, not arsed what the updated app does. I won't upgrade for a couple of months anyway, always better to wait until the early probs are ironed out. The content of my recent posts in this thread are about Apple the company and it's business model, whether the S3 is better than the 5 is irrelevant to me. The fact that Apple have put their own maps app onto the new OS just validates my view that the war games are between apple and google not Samsung.

Tory MP tells jobless youth to work for less than minimum wage http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2012/sep/20/tory-mp-youth-minimum-wage A Conservative MP has come under fire after claiming that young unemployed workers should busk to raise money for their travel fares, and work for less than the minimum wage.

Maritimo v Newcastle United --- 20/09/2012

You seem to know a lot about this subject. -
The Islamic enlightenment narrative has existed for as long as I've been reading about the subject.

I played tennis at Roland Garros today. Ok, not the ATP courts but the municipal ones right next to it. Court next to us was red clay with green BNP Paribas signs. Inspiring, my forehand was electric.

You've all spectacularly missed the point anyway.

Liam not the Roadie.

Met him a few times in the Steeles pub, a good lad and polite/complimentary about NUFC unlike his turd of a brother.

When the Bruges fans watch the team we hoy out tomorrow night they might think again about spending their hard earned.

Some would say thats a good thing, making being an addict easier is idiotic policy.

If i registered for here with the thierry.lefrog@hotmail.fr and have a french i.p address, that still doesnt make me french (no matter what Gemmill tells you). Unless you've spoken to him and heard his accent, i dont believe it. He was posting about Sachins in Newcastle going downhill in the 90s ffs.
-
You get passport information supplied with i.p addresses? He may well post from Norway, that doesnt make him Norwegian.

Nail in the coffin for me as either he lied about it or he is making a joke about a family member dying. Doesnt really matter much, the blokes a bell end.

And now Romney is handing out tips on how to get a dirty bomb into Chicago. Its a mess. How's the head by the way, few beverages last night?

I dont think they put out a full page announcement in the Sunday Times declaring their interest and involvement in numerous conflicts over the past few decades but they are involved militarily all over the middle east.

I like its simplicity though, despite the tongue in cheek part of my post above, i err on the side of 'everything will be absolutely fine', there may be slow economic decline in the west, there may be bloodshed and upheaval in countries struggling for democracy or other forms of govermental change but power is shifting to the BRIC countries and new frontiers of economic therefore political power are popping up all over the globe. One of the more interesting recent trends is Portuguese migration to Angola which is fascinating economically and culturally. I do think whilst you can go into your garden, sit down on some comfortable furniture (weather protection a bonus in more northern climes) and crack open a beer then life is good and if that doesnt look like changing then its worth reflecting on. We overplay the Islam stuff, the real issue at play is the changing global economic situation, as that what affects jobs on Tyneside, both public and private.

He's mortal. Eurofoot, a few Steins and loose conversation with Eastern European criminals always does this to him.
