  1. I see the tory gay vote has plummeted from 39% to 9%. http://www.newstatesman.com/blogs/the-stag...ries-gay-voters Cameron only has one thing on his mind today.
  2. Did you hear the shite he was spouting yesterday afternoon? Fucking retard.
  3. I thnk there may be some truth in this. Or they collectively (the paper is full of mackem sympathisers apparently) decided not to bother anymore after the grief she got. If they have spat the dummy out, just goes to show how childish and biased they are.
  4. YOu know me man. I like to put it out there and see what happens. A good approach to many things. You should read Steve Jones Almost Like a Whale. Well the first chapter anyway.
  5. Parky using the old slow-reveal technique on what the fuck the thread is all about. That or he hasnt made his mind up yet.
  6. If HIV doesnt exist, i presume you'd have no qualms about getting bare-backed off a south african rent-boy?
  7. Been doing my own mediawatch for the past few weeks. The last time the mackem bint wrote about us was April 8th, the one where she said How long does it take to fix a double-broken jaw which has a patient feeding through a straw? Luke? and for the record, stated that And also just to observe about the guardian, only 1 of our last 4 games has a match report, generated by the local correspondent for Plymouth. Has the Guardian stopped bothering with us? It seems that the only recent articles on their site on us are from the Press Association. All seems strange to me, as if someone is in a massive huff.
  8. Getting one for our lass. Will keep her away from my mac so i dont have to panic about whether i was private browsing late at night. Watched the Gadget show last night, reviewed Archos alongside iPad. Archos for 1 out of 5, iPad got 4 out of 5.
  9. To be fair, i dont think anyone outside of Newcastle will be saying it was celebrated too much. I dont mean anyone inside or a supporter is saying it, just that looking at the overall media coverage, the SSN footage etc, it was celebrated but in an appropriate manner.
  10. Don't underestimate the power of catholic guilt to completely fuck up your attitude towards sex when you've been exposed to it all your child life. The cunts. Yeah but maybe masturbating in the bogs at work is wrong? more from a hygiene perspective than anything else I shit in business class, its always a bit cleaner in there.

  12. A Spurs connection is probably quite likely.
  13. What I was getting at above when I mentioned a middle ground is that I absolutely believe people should have the right to those things but I still feel sometimes that our morals are a bit too loose - I suppose it's just my upbringing but I think excessively casual sex is still sort of wrong. Fine, just dont address it by issuing a moral decree 'thou shalt not have excessive casual sex'
  14. Matt Taibbi's conclusion to this article is interesting. http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2010/ap...ve-greed-is-god
  15. Didnt the pope give it to us ahead of the french (who also wanted it) during the crusades? Or something like that.
  16. We are right about pre-marital sex, drugs and women's rights though. Thats the whole point. Islam's moral codes were designed to be useful for life 1400 years ago. The problem with any rule-based (thou shalt not) morality, is that it soon breaks down in the face of real life. So you have to add loads of caveats to the rules. All religious morality therefore fails eventually, so you need a pope or an ayatollah to make up adaptations to the rules whilst pretending to be the voice of a deity on earth. Western philosophical thought moved beyond infantile approaches to forming order in society (which is basically what religions are) many centuries ago. Thank the lord it did too. Tolerance isnt the issue, brainwashing children is the major problem in the modern world.
  17. I use an AZERTY set up as a QWERTY, the keys dont match so i cant look at them, have to touch type.
  18. I feel sorry for kids growing up listening to only mp3s. Cant beat the sound of vinyl through an old analog amp.
  19. Probs worth £100 or so... You'd pay $2000 for a Japanese import first edition of his first album.... http://www.musicpriceguide.com/495336/BOB_...L_LP_W_OBI.html Yeah, its not that one, its from a later date than 1965. The condition of the cover isnt that great but the vinyl is perfect.
  20. I've got a Japanese import of Bob Dylan's The times they are a'changin on green vinyl. Dont think its worth much but its an unusual piece.
  21. Going to see LCD Soundsystem in a couple of weeks, should be canny. Got that Caribou album after all the hype around Odessa, nice album reminds me of Carl Craig, except not as good. Certainly didn't get the idea that it was 'water' not 'metallic' sounding techno/electronica.
