Looooong day. Full Mothers Day duties carried out, rounded off with 4+hours at Rake Lane with Fist Jnr. All well, but knackered.

Busy day, so made cupboard casserole. Jointed a chicken, sliced chorizo, canelinni beans,garlic, red wine, stock and chopped toms. Flavoured it with Harissa and smoked paprika. 3 hours bubbling in the oven, was absolutely lovely.

I can not think of any food that isn't improved by bacon.
