That there was any linkage at all. Watched the film 25 odd years ago (until last week) and just didn’t know of the connection. It was really the music in the first 5 mins that I thought, “well this is a west wing rip off” and then realised it was before West Wing etc.

Worst atmosphere I’ve been to in a long long time. Forest fans the best I’ve heard there in a long time. Utter shite from us. Sooner the likes of Miggy is replaced the better, but lots of other poor displays all around. Miley stood out for me. Fucking dreading the derby. Liverpool, Sunderland, City Villa. Lols

Just about to head off. If I’m honest, I’m very worried about today as the Christmas Yule log has not left departed the station Perish the thought of having to rest my cheeks on a dirty pub seat. Also not really expecting too much from the game. It’s obvious players like Gordon are just running on empty. Also early kick offs can fuck right off. Just got to hope Mad Mick has survived Xmas or the day is totally fucked!

My youngest got something called air Pictionary in his stocking. You basically draw in the air with a wand and the image appears on the TV while your team mates have to guess. Flipping hilarious couple of hours entertainment

God you’re getting old

I haven’t read any of the post match thread so don’t know the feelings on this result. It was just typical of our luck over the years and as soon as they scored (I knew what would happen with penalties), I stormed upstairs to make some mugs. I was absolutely raging, made worse by the fact there was really no one to rage at. Tripps has been excellent for us, the club are on a lovely trajectory and Eddie is pretty much hamstrung (no pun intended) on what team he can put out. It was so frustrating being so angry but really unable to direct it anywhere. Ah well, one day it will be so different.

Yup, I’ve broken up today as well. A manic 6 weeks of mug frenzy over til next year. Chilled out by getting all the Christmas shopping and food shopping done. Nowt to do now but watch romcoms and look forward to Boxing Day, Wunderbar and the match.

A few years ago me and the missus were up in Grey street (I think Browns bar) and there was a pianist playing and it was very chill. We are up again on Saturday and I’m after somewhere a bit nice to have a few drinks.

Are there any classy bars in Newcastle city centre that have a pianist on. (Daytime). Asking for a friend
