Thats based on the UK having no access to the single market and any future UK government refusing to allow the necessary skilled workers in. Both highly unlikely and to my knowledge not suggested by anyone in the government ever.

Baby, bath water etc..., more houses and improved productivity would sort sort a lot of today’s problems. All possible to achieve under this system of government. Just needs governments to take a more long term view.

See this is the problem right there. A lot of people would like that in theory but the bottom line is it’s like looking for the pot of gold at the bottom of the rainbow. Most sensible politicians gravitate towards the centre because it has proved time and time again the most sensible way of running a country. The idea that John McDonnell is the golden ticket we’ve been missing all these years is a joke / insult. Labour have one policy and that is borrow and spend. PFI on a national scale. Makes us have a good time for 5 or 10 years and then leave the mess for all your kids to sort out. The problems of this country need long term solutions not a short term high.

It’s a fucking nightmare. First 10 or 15 bets are straight forward enough but then it gets very complex. Accounts needed with every bookmaker and having to trawl through emails and alerts for the latest offer. Then there’s the fine attention to detail needed so you don’t blow your stake. Worth it for the first few hundred but then best suited to single accountants.

6 days Basically a Netflix film about the SAS raid on the Iranian embassy in London. Definately not a masterpiece but (for me anyway), quite an eye opener on the actual operation itself. Always had in mind that this was a wham bam thank you Mam raid, but in real time quite slow and painstaking getting the end result. Canny watch on a slow night.
