Gordon IMO has improved under Howe. But I also think he's been unlucky. He's played striker when he's not a striker. BUT He also needs to sort himself out. To say he's supposedly a stoic reader etc, he has some serious brain farts at times. He's not delivered in the PL for a while but he's done fine in the UCL. Yes its against some shite, but you can only play whats in front of you. IMO he's a better player than Barnes, but this season Barnes has been the better player.

Trips is a massive calming influence at certain times. He's mint and like you say Andrew I would love him to retire with us. Burn I wouldn't want to leave.
