  1. 3-1 but only after being stifled for 75 minutes....
  2. damn right. awesome player in pro evo. play him just off the centre forward and his mobility passing and shooting are phenomenal, can tackle a bit as well.
  3. legally you would get away with this. what on earth was the courier thinking. if i employed that driver i'd sack the dickhead? are you sure a neighbour didn't sign for it?
  4. whilst i doubt we'll struggle against this team, my bet is we go pretty much un prepared. butts a reasonable choice for captain. in a good run of form for the team at the moment as well.
  5. thought this thread was about liverpool supporters, not where we were born. not that that matters of course.
  6. Di stefano was the complete footballer, great engine, technique, range of passing, shooting, heading and dribbling skills, good pace as well. I think I am right in saying that according to his coaches during his time at Real Madrid, they said that he was their second best player at everything but in terms of the team overall he was their best player. i agree with brehme, and my top left back ever was the big haired left back during the 74 and 82 world cups, was it breitner? can never remember, played for germany, munich and real madrid. great footballer.
  7. different kind of forwards really. shearer was a target man with limited pace, good without being great technique and had outstanding technique for goalscoring inside and outside the box. gerd mullers stats say that he was clearly the best and most natural goalscorer the game has ever seen. didn't have much else to his game apart from goalscoring however. thats why he's often in peoples top 10 players but not top 5 as i see it. if shearer had played in a world class club side with better players than we had at his peak i could see him winning a european cup or a league title. however he from the relatively young age that he got his first cruciate injury, was probably always carrying a few knocks. when he had that injury when he was first with us i really don't think he recovered to 100% of his previous best. a fully fit Alan shearer at his peak however was still however the outstanding english forward of his generation. as it stands i'd have Muller and van basten up front.
  8. wonder what the man himself thinks. if i were him i'd be embarrased at having a bar named after me, and as for a statue.... no way. reckon one of milburn is definitely right.
  9. Didn't adams play in euro 96, was one of the best players in that tournament?
  10. wouldnt bother unless it was of him painting his fence ( like when he celebrated the blackburn title win).
  11. where's the male, just dumped the bird cos she didn't like my card and i was going to dump her any way....?
  12. winston silcott armand van helden ron jeremy peter purves steve howey
  13. racism is still rife. even at my work place. someone called me a wop ( because i'm half italian) which i was overjoyed about. got the twat sacked that did it mind. as for at football grounds its improved, but its not 100%.
  14. OOPS, yeah it is james harper.. my bad.
  15. derrys a fucking crap footballer though. no harm done.
  16. true enough sidwell and kevin harper have both been outstanding this season. sidwell's got the lot except pace. glen littles been good for reading as well (but is getting on a bit)... then there's leroy lita who has scored against all the big clubs and is doing very well. and the lad doyle was good till he got injured. £75k for someone that scored 8 goals in 15 starts aint bad.
  17. heskey looks to me to have lost half a yard of pace. still a big presence but doesn't score anywhere near enough goals. rosenior is not really a top player at all. he's industrious and reasonably quick but positionally he's not all that. and his tackling for me isn't the best.
  18. so far he seems like he wants to play for us and has enough talent ( i think) to definitely do a job for us. what are other peoples opinions?
  19. ride were a really very average group tbh. not a patch on my bloody valentine...
  20. gooch looks like he learns quickly, and because of his speed, which seems fairly rapid he seems to be able to cover for others (fatty bramble take note). wonder how much he'd cost?
  21. i'd rather have barton. better finisher, good box to box and gets a few assists as well ( his corners are pretty good tbh).
  22. reo coker is no bad player but i think he still believes his cup final press...... he's not actually that good.
  23. that tracklist would send my bird into a coma.
