true enough sidwell and kevin harper have both been outstanding this season. sidwell's got the lot except pace. glen littles been good for reading as well (but is getting on a bit)... then there's leroy lita who has scored against all the big clubs and is doing very well. and the lad doyle was good till he got injured. £75k for someone that scored 8 goals in 15 starts aint bad.

heskey looks to me to have lost half a yard of pace. still a big presence but doesn't score anywhere near enough goals. rosenior is not really a top player at all. he's industrious and reasonably quick but positionally he's not all that. and his tackling for me isn't the best.

so far he seems like he wants to play for us and has enough talent ( i think) to definitely do a job for us. what are other peoples opinions?

gooch looks like he learns quickly, and because of his speed, which seems fairly rapid he seems to be able to cover for others (fatty bramble take note). wonder how much he'd cost?

i'd rather have barton. better finisher, good box to box and gets a few assists as well ( his corners are pretty good tbh).

true enough, but a core duo or core 2 duo has way more power compared to a celeron. you get more bang for your buck... a desktop would be a better solution however.

save another £100 and get a core 2 duo (or core duo) laptop. they'll blow this thing into the weeds... that thing will be great for spreadsheets, surfing the web etc but don't expect to play any decent games on it.

is it just me or was bramble just not really bothered. gooch played well fair play to babayaro for playing despite his loss of his brother. steve harper needs dropping, surely tim "unbeleivable" krul would be a better choice as at least he can kick a ball and keep goal?

comparing us to bolton is a strange one. they are a smaller club than us who have a lot of things we don't 1 a supportive and rational chaiman 2 a manager who knows exactly what he wants in terms of the way his team play, and who has organised a decent scouting network to trawl in some very talented players. and gets them to play for the team. 3 players that want to play for the team. i for one think they have some fantastic players, nolan and davies were rejected by a number of clubs for examle but both have grown into decent players. tal ben haim is one of the best cetre backs in the premiership etc etc... now if we had their infrastructure i could see us sitting permanently in the top 5 (comparatively with us being the 5th (© leazesmag) best club in the premiership. that would be no mean feat.

robson was a drunk, and was a class player in the mid 80's i remember him on one of the holiday programmes complaining of a lack of decent bars in torramalinos or wherever. not exactly the brightest bloke either...
