its shit. lineker is a smarmy fecker, lawrenson is a prat and Hansen is a great bloke for trotting out the same old waffle. miles better than the other analysts out there though, which really doesn't say much for tv analysts.
  4. he will though. him and his smarmy arsehole friends.
  5. scary how much power clifford wields over the red tops.
  6. i've cracked it. everyone should have logo plastered milkfloats containing the same amount of milk at the start of the season. the winners get more loaded on so say 5 crates of milk for a win, and 4 for second place. the winner of the championship is the one with the most milk onboard at the end of the season.
  7. aren't they joint favourites to win the european cup this year. currently they have the best squad in world football. but not the best first XI.
  8. RIP i can't beleive some of you lot. bunch of complete idiots for lowering the tone in a dead persons thread.
  9. Lets remember one of the races that Massa won he won because of the FIA and their ridiculous application of the 'rules'. If they wanted wins to carry more weight they should go back to the 10-6-4-3-2-1 point system. they should just do points for top 5 or 6 cars with 1st getting double what second gets. include fractions. The FIA have always had a silent "T" on the end haven't they?
  10. its competing with a fair few places mind. been there once and frankly NEVER again would i go there.
  11. Sure enough Ant is right. We have no one that does that any where near our team. if we did we wouldn't be in this mess.
  12. I assume you mean me? I did it as honestly as possible and that's what I came up with. I'm not one to be overly optimistic as I really think we'll go down but that's just what my predictions came out as. my bad. if i could inject some optimism i would but, really there is so much work to be done, we'd need to rebuild completely. regardless, I do want our team to stay up and us to rebuild and get rid of the shite.....
  13. I just don't see it. that table looks very rose tinted to me asprillia. It seems logical (or indeed easy) to say this but Ashley is now clearly to blame. He has backed our managers to a limited degree, and has supported our youth team ( or rather younger players) He’s allowed players that would have benefited the continuation of premier league survival (given, milner) to go, admittedly both at a profit. He hasn’t addressed the most obvious problems (such as our central midfielders not being able to pass the ball, our defenders being gutless dogs, and our forwards not maintaining the ability to stay fit or in form for any period of time). Add to that the amount of players that earn 60k+ a week for delivering 2/3 of fuck all and you get a club thats really going nowhere fast. Our best player is/was a PSG reserve! and even he can't guarantee decent performances week in week out. its all such a shame.
  14. too right. I've a mate that works in advertising and he is genuinely so far detatched from the real world its frightening.
  15. I genuinely think we'll scrape through by the skin of our teeth, but what happens if we don't. For me, the most obvious thing is get rid of the high earners, and replace them with journeymen who would be able to get us up to the prem stright away. what do you think?.
  16. i served ex page 3 strumpet maria whittaker when i worked for bhs. cracking tits. met greg rusedski in a bar in wimbledon village.
  17. Impressive. its not bad, and it really is all down to eating healthily and properly. 6 months ago i could run a mile in 6 mins 30, now its down to 5mins 19. i can sprint properly as well my best time from my youth was 11.9 seconds, and now aged 36, its 13.3 (which ain't bad) and my bp has gone down from an artery destroying 150/110 to 125/80. the best thing for me to lose weight is my new excercise regime, its stupid. i call it the advert break crunch challenge. whilst the ads are on on the telly between the film or whatever i watch, i just do a few situps. I get through around 100 in an evening. that has definitely helped. better than watching ads for claims direct or whatever! i play footy 3 times a week , and rugby once a week. i jog a mile twice a week and do light weights once a week on my upper body. this all comes from seeing my dad have a mild heart attack, he's fully recovered, but i do not want to go through that. never.
  18. agreed, that first episode of his double act with matt horne was average at best. all he does is get his beergut out and behave like a twat. any fat bloke can do that. that sketch with the england players was shit.
  19. congrats. hope you are doing well after the birth. us blokes'll never understand how much pain it causes!
  20. dyer was a frustrating player. couldn't pass accurately over 15 yards, often dissapeared from games but gave use a bit of speed through the middle. would have been shit on the wing because he was too slight. oh and his good games were pretty rare. he never dominated the midfield, really.
  21. Ridiculous even for you Tom. 4.7 mil. And will be one hell of a player. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtFMofvgfbU call that evidence. fucking hell.... most decent attacking midfielders could do that....
  22. wow. there are a lot of people here that are biting. my $0.02 is that his style of play didn't sit well with a crowd or fanbase that were used to attacking football over the years (i'm talking about the first KK and all of the sbr years). he did a fair job of tidying up the mess that graeme souness left us in, but realistically would not have been able to get us up into the top 6 (or 8) that season. his tactics with a bunch of pig headed overpaid cretins (our players, just in case!!!) did not work, his (abrasive or otherwise) personality, and his insistence on getting in a big team of people who couldn't improve our results was another reason he got the bullet. I don't have a great deal of time for the man, but do think he'll keep blackburn up. possibly at our expense.
