for the record that shirt i posted is probably my 3rd favourite of the adidas toon range. the newky brown and the 1st northern rock one ( blue typeface) are rather special in my opinion. gotta love the trefoil rather than that funny triangle thing.

back on topic, here's my opinion. Great player at all the selfish things and has a load of quaility, but have you seen, even now, how many passes go astray. if he could pass as well as he could shoot, he'd be probably the best attacking midfielder in the premiership. Also he's a cheating, diving, whinging cunt. Who also likes a few 2 footed studs up challenges.

i watched that, and I think hansen was by no means out of order. frankly speaking in his pomp he was one of the best defenders the game has seen. so therefore has a right to state our defence is a bit crap!

I don't think he's ever been very loyal. typical modern day footballer tbh. We have an able deputy in harper ( who is a better keeper than most of the other english keepers in the premiership (thinking robertson, carson and a few others)and the young keepers all seem to be good-ish.

i think it'll be a right cunt of a game. neither team to come away with anything worthwhile.

i think this lad taylor will be ok. bear in mind that he's not one of wigans outstanding players (i.e. valencia or the lad that went to spurs) and hopefully he's got a bit more pace than our other options at full back.

he's vastly overrated in my opinion. too slow and is the midfielder thats supposed to break forward and score... jesus wept. also been out of form for ages ( ever since he got that bbc column a couple of years ago).

Joe kinnear is spineless. Ashley is a complete liar. hardly news imho. what is disastrous is our medical facilities and the fact we buy players that have numerous ankle and knee injuries (thinking duff, owen, barton etc...). Obviously no more than 2 of each mind.....

mcmanus is a bit blood and thunder for our league. not quite good enough. trouble with us though is we've (since woodgate was playing) never had a brilliant centre back here. collocini tries but isn't big enough and certainly isn't fast enough. Bassong is still too raw, but a far better prospect than that awful plastic geordie taylor who needs to take a look at himself. prize mug, that one....

Harper is good enough man. whilst given is a great keeper, if he doesn't want to play for us there isn't much point.....
