  1. i dunno. he's about a 9m player at best. love the john regis thing! so true.
  2. they might be more difficult to beat. but they won't be playing any stellar football. he also has a penchant for tall fullbacks which means their left back might become available.
  3. current climate i'd say £12m- 15m. bearing in mind his injury record. Robbie keane and berbatov were way overpriced.
  4. haven't we got a load of his ex staff on the books?
  5. Craig, I think he could still be. lets face it, his goals kept us away from relegation last season. this season we are still very reliant on him.

    X Factor

Cheryl Nadine Kim Sarah Nicola Is the right answer! I hate Nadine's spindly legs. they are all a bit skinny for my liking. nadine is the best looking, followed by sarah. Cheryl's got a nose that could open bottles.
  7. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...uth/7787323.stm and the other ones injured!
  8. 2 diarra's in defensive midfield.... I'd take mamadou diarra off of them. if i were in charge at newcastle.
  9. adams i reckon is an excellent coach, but i really think he's not got it as a manager. also I don't think anyone realises how good a player sulley muntari was for pompey last season.
  10. completely out of his depth, or player mutinee.... both perhaps.
  11. a player thats nowadays just short of being world class. worth 80k a week plus bonuses if match fit and scoring goals. would it be too much to say that if 100% fit and in the team that played on saturday, could score a goal every one and a half games? the above are all reasons for keeping the lad on board. sadly because he is very non commital in the press he will always be seen as being aloof, and this clearly does not endear him to the geordie public. its all a bit sad really.
  12. for the next couple of years with the team and manager we have, its all about mid table mediocrity.
  13. the lazarus "if i got hold of her i'd break her back doors in and leave her with a face like a plasterers radio award". or something. fair play to hoy though. 3 golds is pretty special.
  14. guthrie has impressed me for his attitude, seems a good player as well ( though by no means anything outstanding).
  15. fantastic result. the team as is is built for counter attacking using the pace of the argentinian lad and owen and martins. owens movement was ( especially second half) exceptional. bassong was good again, and enrique gets stick whilst not actually being that bad. he's good defensively and got an assist today which is not bad. collo looked a little shaky today. funny thing is tony adams has been quoted as saying he wouldn't swap defoe for owen....
  16. i'm hoping he'll stay and he himself has "joked" about nothing being a secret in newcastle. the talks take place on tuesday. if he gets a 3 or 4 year deal on his current wages he will stay ( just a feeling). otherwise he'll probably go to a second tier premier league place ( like villa or everton)... just my $0.02
  17. amazing statistic. imagine him at his peak. think its 12 in 19 games for us which given the lack of service is frankly phenomenal. however he hasn't scored against a top 4 club since 2004...
  18. tesco do what woolies should have done. they've paid for being behind the times...
  19. got that book. he's a gent. says what he sees as well.
  20. what he's going to ask you to suck off the end of his..... spoon.
  21. chivas regal was nice back in the day. due to an ongoing medical condition, thats going to have to be consigned to the past however. i can drink, just not spirits.
  22. out of interest a quick google search against the man in question shows a fair few pages, and without doubt he'll be put under pressure by the usual anti racist groups and others...
