1. Looks like you slipped through the net then.
2. Heard that on the radio last night, it's shocking 72081 The guy DESERVES to be fucking shot and he goes ahead and does this? Sick. 72085 It's not exactly a surprise, he's on death row, he's going to do anything to avoid the firing squad. What I find particularly sickening is that he paid off the families, not the victims themselves, so the kids probably don't get a say in the matter. 72140 What I find almost as sick as Glitter is the fact the families accepted the payoff. IMO that's implying it's OK with them and they'll get over it, thank you very much. If it were me I'd refuse a payoff simply for the fact I'd want any bastard who assaulted my child dead- the more violent the death the better. [/typical yank bloodthirtyness] 72269 That's what I was getting at. But at Rob says, he paid what to them is an astronomical sum - apparently it was three times the average annual wage over there. Doesn't make it right, but if they're living in poverty (which is sadly the reason that child prostitution is so prevalent over there) then that kind of money is hard to turn down.
3. Thick bint should have gotten a black or white cat then as they go with everything. 72315 Harsh, but true!
4. I start my hospital attatchments on the 4th.
5. There was plenty of abuse thrown at O'Brien when he was here.
6. There's something on .com about it.
7. He flits between giving us shit reviews because we sacked him and good ones because he's mates with Souness.
8. Actually Craig it's t'other way round - the season we finished fourth was the one where we actually qualified (it was the first season England had four places I think). The Partizan Belgrade debacle followed the next season, after we finished third.
9. Safety officer should have his hands chopped off tbh.
10. From the man for whom the police/government can't do anything properly.

12. This thread is bad but there's some stiff competition out there.
13. It helps when that particular player is a world class performer worth £20 million though! He has used the money effectively granted, and there is a good team ethic at Chelsea, but without the ££££ they would be nowhere.
14. From the beeb: Mourinho playing down cash image Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has denied that his team's success is down to spending power. The Blues went 11 points clear at the top of the Premiership after Wednesday's 1-0 win at Manchester City. "I know the image people have of us but I don't believe you will see many teams in the world fighting like we did to get this victory," said Mourinho. "Some might say it is the power of money but I don't agree. This is the power of a group working together." Chelsea have dropped points in only two matches all season - a defeat at Manchester United and a draw at Everton. And Mourinho added: "The players have been together since the first day and are ready for anything." Chelsea have won seven straight Premiership games since the 1-0 loss at Manchester United on 6 November. Second-placed United drew at struggling Birmingham on Wednesday to fall further behind the leaders. "I always say the best team wins the championship because it is over 38 matches," added Mourinho. "We do not have to be worried. For us, it is about controlling the distance, getting three points or picking up one. "If we had drawn against Manchester City and Manchester United had won I do not think it would make that much difference. "The situation would have been the same. For us, it is about winning. For the others it is about waiting for our mistakes." And with 52 points at the halfway stage of Chelsea's Premiership campaign, Mourinho said he was delighted with his team. "We are getting incredible results, it has been a fantastic effort this season and it is a bad feeling for the teams behind us," he said. "We go home from this win over Man City with the feeling that we are the best team." The win at City was also significant for midfielder Frank Lampard, who withdrew from the Chelsea line-up with a virus - ending a Premiership record of 164 successive appearances. "I want to dedicate the victory to Frank Lampard," said the Blues boss. "The team fought for him. "He was not feeling good during the day. He tried to warm up but was feeling nauseous and had a headache. He could not manage it."
15. It looked a great film, unfortunately I was knackered so I kept dropping off! Noel Coward is great in it.
16. Looks like it's gonna be called off, I can't see them playing in that. No surprise that the Boro match was the first one called off.
17. This thread is a bit of a cock-up tbh.
18. Radgina has a point though, as Gemmill put it last week, when we had two good wins on the trot there wasnt a post of any sort from the "Souness Out" brigade, Im not saying he should stay, just that as soon as we lose again (and lets face it we lost to the champions of Europe) we see a glut of "Souness out" and "I've never watched such crap" posts. 71691 It's hardly a surprise though is it? If people do post negative posts after a win then nobody listens, stock reply being "you're never happy are you ". No point in posting if it falls on deaf ears.
19. Before I click the link I'm guessing its Pink Floyd ? 71598 71601 Not The Libertines then?
20. I was still drunk at 1pm on xmas day.
21. I can't imagine what you're going through Craig, I hope he recovers as soon as possible. My thoughts are with you and your family.
22. Looks like the 'revival' was short lived! I heard Michael Owen had a shitter. Why is it that only our ex-players seem to come back and haunt us?!
