  1. I should stand in the corner or be put in the dog-house but I must admit that despite my inherant dislike of Blunderland there have been games I have wanted the Mackems to win. Usually when they've played a London team or a team whose loss could affect our league standing.
  2. THAT ....... is obviously Noelie. NO, wrong again as usual LeazesMag, I don't wear a dut or use a walking stick. Mind you a stick would be handy to bray some sense into you............ if that's possible.
  3. Nah LeazesMag, proving you wrong would be an easy task compared to proving you right. That would be a really hard job, one you can't even do youself.
  4. You must be talking about the ones you had because you are obviously deluded, stupid, and living in your own little dreamworld. They taught you well.
  5. WOW! now this I can't believe, must have hurt to admit that LeazesMag, maybe there's hope for you yet.
  6. Change the LM record fer gawd's sake, the one yer playing is broken-broken-broken-broken-broken-broken-
  7. No way, one of his boy friends told me he was a right sloppy kisser
  8. Trying to show that LeazesMag is far from what he wants people to think he is, and that he goes on and on like a broken record, and will continue to do so if someone disagrees with his posts or points out that he is wrong. His response to this post should prove my point. Interesting. (1) Maybe you should start by clarifying what you think "I want people to think of me " (2) I know what you want people to think of you BTW, but in my opinion you're just a bullshitter who wasn't really bothered about the club for decades until the current board and Keegan turned up in 1992. (1) Well I think.......that YOU want people to think of you as being the only living authority on Newcastle United, and beside YOUR knowledge all else pales. (2) And YOUR response should clearly clarify what I said about YOU going on and on like a broken record, and should also clarify my earlier comment about YOUR fixation with the current board and 1992.
  9. Must admit that I always want English teams to win against foreign teams but when it involves Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Sunderland, and Man.Utd my feelings often do a U-turn. Watched the Liverpool v Barca match and wanted Barca to get a second goal.

  11. nr If you had not lied in the first place, you would have saved all this, chum Ooops......sorry.....forgot to say I'm a liar! And good for you Whacky Jnr.
  12. I would agree that he has 'steadied the ship' to some degree but so far he hasn't been able to get the ship under-weigh and moving ahead on an even keel. I'm not sure he has the capability to do that but would like to see him succeed. At times I can't fault him for some of the results we get albeit I don't always agree with his line-ups. Against the Boro however he fielded a team that I would have chose from the players that were available and it was a match from which the players themselves should have got the 3 points. I believe success can only come for Roeder if he can assemble the right mix of players for next season and unless he is given the necessary funds we'll be looking at another long season of high-hopes and low-spirits. With all the players currently on the books and in tip-top condition I have doubts that we can compete with the likes of Man.Utd., Chelsea, and Arsenal for the top three places.
  13. .....put an end to LeazesMag's dogmatic persistance in his accusations, his questions, and his insistance that others know nothing about Newcastle United and he knows everything. I have concluded that the best way to deal with the pedantic, self-congratulating, egotistical, image he portrays is to agree with all his proclamations and accusations. Therefore, dear LeazesMag old chum; I agree with you that I know nothing about the current board(and not a thing about previous boards). I agree with you that I know very little about Newcastle United(after all what would a 74 year old know). I agree with you that I am a KK wagon-jumper(but was that as a player or a manager). I agree with you that I've known nothing since 1992(not sure why you're hung-up with '92 but that's OK). I agree with you that I know nothing about the 50's. 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's(even late 40's & 2001-2-3-4-5-6-7) I know nothing of Hilley & Penmam and those others you mentioned(and there's others I know nothing of). I know nothing of people like Milburn, White, Robledo, Scoular, Wayman, Davies, Burton, Keeble, Stokoe, Suddick, McGrath, Bennett, Gowling, Natrass, Kennedy, Robson, Pearson(I must read the history books). I agree with you that I have not seen many games(videos, streams, and the telly don't count as seen). I agree with you that only people who watch games know anything(videos, streams, and telly don't count). I agree with you that people who don't watch games can't know as much as people who do(ditto above). I agree with you that I pretend to be a Newcastle supporter(good at it though especially with me shirt on) I agree that you are the most knowledgable of Newcasle United affairs(my knowledge pales before yours). I agree that you have been baiting me(some may think it's the other way round but what would they know). I admit that I have referred to you as being stupid( shows how much I know doesn't it). I have referred to your "inimitable style"(wonder what I meant by that) Have I missed anything, I hope not as I've tried to cover all your dogma.
  14. it would appear nobody is tooooooo bothered about your post Noelie chum... I think they realised that it was me baiting you....and also wondered why you would not tell us what you thought of those players I asked you about and as such are lying ....... They also know - that blokes who have hardly watched the club for decades, know fuck all compared to those who go to games as they do this themselves ....... you couldn't be more deluded if you tried, chum LOL Cue: Abuse from Noelie, to hide the fact he can't speak with authority about the club he says he knows so well ....... Have you changed your telescope yet Actually I wasn't expecting to read any responses to my apologetic posting yet somehow I just knew that you would endeavour to write something in your inimitable self-conceited manner of trying to portray a reverse situation more suitable to your egotistical demeanour. It would appear that my apology to forum members merely provided a further opportunity for you to indulge in your self-congratulation mode. And no doubt you will respond to this in your inimitable style, more's the pity. Shame, but I was wondering if you had done your research on those players I asked you about. Obviously not. Another opportunity lost to show us all your knowledge of the club, that you [self] profess to have. But I'm sure the irony of that will be lost on someone so stupid as yourself. Like I said; "In your inimitable style" you are so predictable, waiting for the next one.

  16. .....that it's about time I apologized to most forum members for subjecting them to my baiting of LeazesMag. I must confess that whenever I encounter someone who appears to be an egotistical self-conceited person who continually endeavours to indulge in self-congratulation, I'm wont to rattle their cage. I must admit my actions were deliberate and I should not have played him so long like a fish hooked on the end of a line but it was made so easy, and I must admit I derived pleasure from it and that was wrong of me.
  17. Butt I like Parker, no quarter asked, none Given, takes no prisoners, my kind of player.
  18. I've noticed people asking for 'streams' to be PM'd to them(not radio streams) and was wondering if there was a rule about not posting a stream site on here,......... is there? Todays match was live on our Fox Soccer Channel here in Southern California at 7:00 AM but I'm sure I could have watched it on a stream had it not been on the telly. I watched the Liverpool, Zulte, Wigan, games on a stream. Majority of Newcastle matches have been locked by 'Setanta' and Setanta channels are not available on my DishNework satelite provider so it's either travel about 30 miles to a pub where it's showing and pay to watch, or watch a stream for free.
  19. Another disappointing game, another one we should have won handily but we just lack that cutting edge in front of goal. Minlner had a fair game but his balls in were poor as usual. Martins should have had at least one. Zoggy had a fair game and showed a lot of promise for things to come. Bramble was fairly solid but his long balls were rubbish. Gooch was a little shakey on occasion. Butt & Parker looked a little better together today. Nobby had another good game. Taylor was definitely better at LB than Huntington or Edgar. Dyer had a decent game I thought, worked hard.
  20. Pretty even game so far but we're a bit dodgy at the back. Taylor doing OK at left back, i think he should have been there before now.
  21. 2004. 5 games at St. James' Park. 2001. 6 games at St. James' Park. 1998. 6 games at St.James' Park. Etc, etc, I'm in the habit of coming home every 3 years unless there's funerals and the like in between, I'm due to visit this year depending on my wife's health(she has terminal cancer) I see most games games live on the telly or streams, very rarely miss seeing a match one way or another. Prior to so many games on television nowadays people would send me videos that they would record for me, week later perhaps but I saw the games.(have a large library of Newcastle games on tape) Prior to that used to listen to the commentaries on short-wave radio. I have an expenive TV-VCR combo that plays PAL, NTSC, and Secam tapes. Yours are PAL if you didn't know, here they're NTSC. Strange how all the people who don't see games think they know as much as those that do !!! Can't think of anything stupider than that, to be honest You are basing your stupidity on that only people who attend games in person can know more than those who don't, and you're way off base in that assumption. To watch a match on television provides you with more insight on the game. You see instant replays from different angles, you see up-close action that a spectator would only see from a distance, your view is never blocked by people jumping up. A television viewer sees many more details of the match than someone at the park in a crowd. However there is no question that television does not, and cannot, provide the atmosphere which is so important to the enjoyment. I said elsewhere "in 40 years". I'm sure you know nowt really about the last 40 years, unless you can show that you do, rather than avoid responding. Bet your blushing and farting in embarrassment now, claiming to be a "supporter" I think my response above indicates that I have not avoided anything, that I have seen a lot of home & away games either on television, by streams, by video recordings, and in person, during the past "40 years". I think that following the team on short-wave radio when it was the only way would indicate a degree of support. I don't think you have the intelligence to understand that support can come from a distance, and distance does not always diminish support.
  22. I am so glad you are pleased that I avoid a constructive response. It's a pity you don't have the mentality to post anything constructive, if you did perhaps I could please you more. Oh by the way, not sure I understand what you mean by; "you can't sort your quotes BTW".
  23. you must be a right daft twat if you think I'd bother using your username ..... HOHO. how fuckin sad........ nah, you're wrong Noelie, ...............I am laughing at your stupidity to think I have nothing else better to do than logging into an internet forum and pretending I am you ..... You must have been born stupid LeazesMag, I don't think any reference has been made or thought about you pretending to being me, and certainly not by me, I only asked if you had, based on someone elses comment. "When ignorance predominates, vulgarity will inevitably assert itself". Whoever quoted that must have had you in mind LeazesMag, I couldn't have labeled you better.
  24. Now this response goes beyond stupidity!! There was no reference to you using my username, only my name, or who posted it. but you obviously didn't read the posting correctly. And as for me thinking anything about you other than you're stupid, now that is stupid.
  25. LeazesMag you have now reached your highest level of stupidity by saying that I accused you of using my name on another forum It is quite obvious you are so stupid you can't even read or understand what is written and by who. Probably because you are so stupidly obsessed with yourslf and your own opinions
