Well worth getting up at four thirty in the morning. Was convinced we would lose but what a brilliant result. When we went down to ten men I knew we would lose, joke was on me. Pardew made 2 mistakes, he put BenArfa in the middle and left him there too long. Welcome back Tiote.

These early games SUCK. Got to be up for quarter to five on Saturday morning ...... and quarter after five next Sunday morning. Don't the schedulers give any consideration to us overseas oldies!!
-
With the absence of Colo, I shudder at the thought of Willo against Liverpool. What 2 central defenders will Pardew pair on Saturday? I think I would go for Saylor & Mbiwa if Saylors fit.

eeeehyebuggerman, aa must admit aa went te sea an' California wi nee regard fer the Lads, aa wus a reet selfish sod, nivver a thowt fer any bugger but me.

Apart from my 2 California born bairns, and 1 American born grandson, all my aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, & old friends live in the North East. That answer your first question? During my time in the Merchant Navy I grew to love the sunshine and decided I wanted to live in a place where the sun shone a lot more than it did in the UK. Had the weather in the North East been like Southern California I doubt I would have ever left Tyneside. That answer your second question?
-
Why I live in Southern California bonny lad, have done for more than 50 years but have never taken out American citizenship, never will. I am English, a Geordie, and British. And when I die my ashes will be brought home to Gateshead. Where do you live again?

The flowers of Scotland are trying to dismantle the United Kingdom, breaking the Union by becoming an independent nation. The Scottish Football Association wouldn't participate in the Olympic Games as part of a Great Britain team. Yet here you are asking yer auld enemies the English for help. FUCK OFF.

I'll take the 3 points gratefully. We deserved to win it but only by our first half display. Second half was nail-biting and when they scored from Willo's fuck-up I thought we were going to throw it away. Why Pardew took Remy the goal-scorer off and not Cisse, I'll never know. Gouffran was nowhere near as good as he was last week. Pardew should have brought BenArfa on for more than 5 minutes. Was surprised to see Jonas make an entry. Tiote had a much better game.

Wot d'ye think aboot this like? Put Santon on the bench to give him a wake-up call. Put Dummet in, he can always be taken off. Put Mbiwa on the bench to give him a wake-up call if Saylors fit. Put Saylor in if he's fit, he can always be taken off. Put Sissoko on the bench to give him a wake-up call. Put Cabaye in, he always gets taken off anyway. Put Sissy on the bench again, he needs to wake up!! Put Gouffran in again. Put BenArfa in again, but back on the right or in the middle. Put Anita in again. Put Debuchy in again. Put Colo in again. Put Krull in again. Put Remy in again but not in the middle. Put Tiote in again.

Pardew should not have taken BenArfa off........he should have put him back on the right where he's been used to..... Coleman was handling him ...... would have been well to let him have a go at Baines. Gouffran was MoM inn my opinion, worked his arse off ....... too bad his effort bounced out off the post and didn't bounce in. Remy should not have been playing in the middle ..... he's better to the left. Pardew should not have taken Anita off ...... he was playing quite well. Santon is good going forward but he is poor defensively. Colo was not at his best when he needed to be. Makes you wonder why we can play like shit in the first half then look a lot better in the second.
-
FFS .......I dread the final score. BenArfa is wasting on the left. Luckookoo's had the ball in the net 4 times.
-
The Norwich win dropped us into 16th place. We really need to beat Everton to move us way back up the table. A draw would move us up 4 places and put us above Man.U. We need a win and maybe we can do it if Pardew gets his starting line-up right and doesn't screw-up with his substitutions.
-
Credit due; Blunderland did not look too bad, had they got their shots on target it may have been a different score-line.
-
If Monsieur Pardieu keeps favouring Obertan I will have to think there is something going on between them. Je suis now sure Obertan is useless especially in front of goal.
-
Saddest part is if we had beaten Hull we would be in 6th place as other results went in our favour.
-
Yer kidding aren't ye? His passes and touches were awful. Pardew should have had him off long before he did.
-
If it were anyone other than Newcastle I would say unbelievable, but this is Newcastle and it is believable!! Cisse was useless. BenArfa was a no-show. When the second half started and Hull scored the equalizer I was overcome with bad feelings and began to think we might blow this one and we did. Played some really good stuff in the beginning then let Hull get into the game. Don't think Pardew should have put Marveau in, when you're behind you need an aggressive player in and Marveau is far from that. Really, and I mean really disappointing. St. James is not a fortress no more.
-
Actually NO, he's a red faced fat Geordie who talks sort of posh and dies his hair blond.
-
I think one of the interesting parts of the Villa game was the number of times Colo ellegantly carried the ball forward and finished off with daisy-cutting pin-point passes. Never seen him do that many before and was used to seeing him send hoof-balls forward.
-
Assuming everyone will be fit and available, this match should give us a clear indication of Pardew's ability to manage and win with what he's got, and a clear look at what we can expect from our team this season.
-
Massive disappointment at no last ditch signing, but absolutely no surprise. No idea what the real purpose there was in Ashley hiring Kinnear, but if it was to get new players across the line, then I hope Kinnear will now be fired for such a dismal performance when every other team in the Premier league got at least 2 or more players across the line, and quite a few of them were strikers. One solitary loan signing of an injured, bailed accused rapist, is certainly a feather in someone's hat. Credit to Pardew for not having anything to do with Kinnear's failure, but he's the one who's going to suffer for it.
-
If we don't get anyone in before the deadline, and Remy is our only addition,, I can hardly wait to hear the excuses especially from Kinnear. Pardew will resort to his usual say a lot but mean nothing.
-
In the beginning I thought Marveau displayed a lot of talent but as time passed he just appeared to be a lightweight with little effort, aggression, and energy. I would prefer Sammy if only for his energetic efforts.
-
Too bad we couldn't have got a couple of more goals as our goal difference has stopped us climbing higher up the table.
-
I said that if we didn't get all 3 points, Pardew should be sacked!! Well I guess he lives to fight another day. Mind you I don't know why he stated Stroller ahead of Gouffran and I wasn't happy with him starting Marveau. Anyway a great win at home.
