Cabella was extremely disappointing after last weeks display. Wasn't sparking anything. Anita is too lightweight. Had enough possession to win but were toothless going forward. Take Colo and Krul off the pitch and Willo will be at a loss for someone to pass to. Good to see DeJong on the pitch.

In retrospect, BenArfa coming on instead of Obertan could have had a game changing effect. Why doesn't Pardew get some sense, stop being petty and arrogant, man manage, bring him back into the fold, and use him for the better of the Club. I could see Cabella & BenArfa dishing out nightmares for any defense.

Colback looks like he might just be a very good signing. Janmaat didn't look like a Debuchy but it's his first Premier league game. However, he seemed to lack pace. Dummett does lack pace. Obertan was surprisingly good today. Dummett proved again he is not as good as Haidara. Has Willo ever accomplished anything by going up for corners? Looked as though we were going to get hammered again at the start. Aarons looks really good on that left side, mind you his goal was supposed to be a cross he actually looked for a target. Brilliant not expected result.

Concerns resurrecting ........ Pardew has no concept of troop deployment and tactical formation even in friendly warfare. No question Haidara is better than Dummett perhaps even Santoni. Disappointing performance, had hoped for better.

I suggest a whip-around to raise enough cash to buy a crate of the stuff. Give the crate to BenArfa with instructions to spray Pardew at his earliest opportunity in hopes that Pardew will vanish like magic. As a safeguard give him 2 crates of the vanishing cream.

Of course we need a striker of his quality and proven record but .........he'll never play for Newcastle. He'll play for the money, future prospects, and what's in his best interests by way of fame and fortune. Remy is an out and out mercenary, he turned us down before because he was offered big money by a club headed for relegation. I'd like to see him not get what he wants and is stuck with Harry.

As I understand it, the Mackem efforts towards a flower tribute for our fallen soldiers(Toon army regulars) has grown out of all proportion. Apparently the surplus of thousands of pounds is to be directed to our own charities on Tyneside,, not Wearside. This is a remarkable gesture from our arch enemies. I've gone a little soft on the Mackems now, and commend the lad who started the ball rolling.

CT, how many managers are you talking about? I don't recall Hughton having any problems with him, he's one, but then maybe I'm wrong. Pray set me straight why my comments are rubbish.

Sad part about this issue is that Hughton brought in Ben Arfa on loan then Pardew took the credit for signing him. Obviously Padew is incapable of catering to, or controlling, a high ego talented player like Ben Arfa. A good manager would be able to get some use, in some way, from an impact player like Ben Arfa, and not make matters worse with his petulant actions.

Why am I having feelings that Janmaat signing is not a done deal. Comments like Emanuel is our 5th signing, and it depends on Debuchy's move, are causing me concern.
