  1. Not working for me Tom, any other place? Are you clicking on CH3? - you should be. YES, but nothing playing. Was it working for you before? Try closing down your browser and then going in again from scratch. Its defo working as I'm listening to it myself. No it hasn't worked at all. I've tried that to no avail. Maybe because sometimes things are only available in the UK. CH3 is working for me. I'm in Spokane WA Well it aint working for me you jammy sod. Guess I'll have to stay with the text commentary for this match. By the way, my daughter lives in Richland WA.

  5. I saw the match but didn't see clearly what happened and they didn't show one re-run of the inccident. Photographs can be deceptive and looking at this one posted by Kevin gives the impression that that Ramsay's leg had gone before contact had been made by Shawcross. I had a similar break in 1959, both tibula & fibula broken. My fault entirely, went into a sliding tackle on a bloke who was in the act of shooting, touched the ball away and put my leg where the ball had been and the bloke didn't have a chance to hold back the kick he was already making. Had an operation and a 12 inch stainless steel pin was put down the middle of the large bone to keep it aligned, I was in a full length cast for 9 months. I think recovery time has a lot to do with how quickly the bone knits and it varies from person to person. It was determined later that mine took so long because the pin that was put in was too large in diameter and had displaced too much bone marrow. I was back playing in a little over a year but 5 years later I had to have the pin removed as it began to give me problems. If all goes well for Ramsay he should still have a career in football and be as good as new if it doesn't affect him mentally.
  6. Noelie, I listened to the game on the radio and I thought we were fucking mint. Ah, but I watched it on ESPN360. Wot sort o' mint Alex, glacier or black bullet?
  7. Another 3 points, another poor performence. Again another lower placed team looked better than we did, had more possesion, but couldn't get the goals necessary to win. At the end it looked like we might just throw away 2 points. Despite Carroll scoring a goal our two-pronged attack force were like a toothless tiger. Best was pretty much anonymous. Jonas was not up to speed and niether was Guthrie. I appreciate the win but I wish we could do it with more elan, panache, and flair, rather than looking mediocre and grinding out results against mediocre opposition. I believe their goal was offside but regardless of the weather, visability, and bad conditions, they got the ball in the net when they shouldn't have, and might have got another.
  8. It is quite apparent that LeazesMag has a habit of stating things he claims people have said when in actual fact they haven't. It is also quite apparent that when he is asked to prove his statements he goes off on a tangent and puts himself in a position that indicates just how pathetic he can be at trying to prove his lies. I would have thought by now that LeazesMag would have, should have, arrived at the conclusion that locking horns with old Noelie in a battle of words could only end up with him being gored and trying to stop his bleeding with blood thinners. My advice to LeazesMag is never pick on old Noelie, never make statements about people he can't prove, and seek the help he needs to combat his inane logic and truth twisting. I will not post in this particular topic again regardless of how LeazesMag answers this posting, and true to form I'm sure he will.
  9. I eagerly await your next try to get out of the hole you have dug for yourself. http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...mp;#entry189294 .........I'm a dreamer, and I guess I am! Every summer for the past sixty odd years I've dreamt we would start the new season with the wanted players on board , the unwanted off-loaded, and the league championship in our sights. Wot a dozey bastard I am, I don't think it will happen in my lifetime but I shall dream on. 2-1/2 hours to go, will it happen has that narrowed it down a bit for you ,Not even close enough to show that I ever remotely said what you say I did, which was "the club has never bought the players it wanted". Can you explain to everyone how your stupid mind-set came up with that from what I actually posted. You know there are professional people around who can help you with your malady You haven't answered my questions yet, nor explained your stupid mind-set.

  12. I can't speak for Rob W, but I must state in all honesty that I've always had difficulty in understanding the verbiage of mentally challenged people who should seek professional help in dealing with their infirmities. Suffice to say LeazesMag, I'm dreadfully sorry I have difficulty understanding you. and for good measure, I have bumped the thread. Again, waiting your reply You really must stop bumping those threads LeazesMag, your mentality is flawed enough without you accelerating the damage by bumping. I can't imagine why you would be waiting for my reply? Surely a mentally challenged person such as yourself would realize that soliciting replies from me could only bring more angst and frustration upon you. Please seek help before you spiral to nowhere land. basically Noelie, as I pointed out, you were spouting complete utter tripe, I showed, linked it, and you won't admit it. Perhaps on occasion, like some people, I do spout complete utter tripe. However, when I spout about your flawed mentality and being mentally-challenged, it is far from being tripe. Are you so flawed that you are unable to recognize that every time you allude to me in one of your posts you will be subjected to my derisive but accurate remarks alluding to your warped frame of mind. You really do need help LeazesMag. No. I'm just pointing out how flawed and mentally challenged you are, because you continue to deride me rather than admit that I have posted links that prove you to be totally wrong. Forget about posting links, post the specific post wherein I say something that has been proved to be totally wrong......by you. You said that the club has never bought the players it wanted. Post the specific post where I said that. My point that the likes of you, having experienced the true mediocrity since the 1950's until 1992, ought to have realised the Halls and Shepherd in fact were good owners who gave us by far the only consolidated period of supporting this club in the last 50 years that it ought to have. If you don't see that, then you have had your eyes closed, or simply can't bring yourself to admit this is the case ie they attracted you back to "support" the club - in your own way - Your sickness seems to be caused by your belief that the only good times at NUFC were during the Hall & Shepherd period and that everything from the 1950's to 1992 was true mediocrity. Perhaps you should have said from 1956-1992 because winning the FA Cup 3 times in the '50's hardly supports your statement, and then our run in the Fair's Cup could hardly be called mediocre and doesn't support you either. .......and then slated them. Post any specific post of mine wherein I have slated them. Laughable. It will be laughable when you can't verify anything you have spouted about me. If you can't find and post the proof of what you say then find the help you need so badly.

  16. Aye, and we could have won the 4 home games we didn't. QPR 1 - 1. Bristol 0 - 0. Derby 0 - 0. West Brom 2 - 2. 3 teams in the last 8 home games have already beaten us away and will be up for a double.
  17. Your optomism is quite humourous at best, the pathetic way we have been playing for most of the season does not conjure up 'piss easy home games' at anytime.. We have already drawn 4 home games dropping 8 points and I'm sure you would have considered at least two of them 'piss easy games' which didn't turn out that way.
  18. I can't fucking believe we came away with a point. If a team ever deserved to win it was Swansea, we were pathetic again and they looked like a class act playing against a team lacking mediocrity levels. Nice taken goal by Carroll though, thank God.
  19. It's hard to believe we can be so bloody awful considering the players we have. Swansea are giving us a lesson on how to keep the ball, pass the ball, and how to play football. It's beyond depressing. Why is Williamson on the bench?
  20. I had this feeling we would lose to Derby, mirror-imaging their relagation season when we were the only team they beat and drew with. However I didn't think it would be 3 nowt and they would knock us out of top spot. Any positive thoughts I had about Hughton have now been reduced to negative ones based on his 3 player substitution. When you are behind and backs to the wall, Stroller is not the knight in shining armour nor cavalry. Jonas at left back, Jesus fucking wept. Spare me the platitudes and excuses about injuries and absent players, this is the same starting team that beat high-placed Cardiff 5-1, then three days later ran out and lost 3-0 to a low-placed team, Derby. Anyone with high in the sky elated feelings of success had better get back to earth and accept the fact that we are not a good team.
  21. Keep an eye here nearer the time. Someone usually streams via uStream and it gets passed around. I listened to the Cardiff game on UStream. It is from BBC Tyne output but ordinarily if I try to get it from Radio 5 or other sources it is only available to UK listeners.
  22. Irony abounds, Peaspudd'n didn't have that formation in his list yet you must consider that most of our glory days were won with a 2-3-5 line-up in olden times. Inccidently NJS, the centre-half was a defined defender, don't think I ever heard Frank Brennan referred to as a mid-field general, more often as a 'stopper'.
