Can't believe Pardew has let Kadar go to Huddersfield for a month on loan and he has already played 90 minutes at LEFT-BACK in a win.
-
Why didn't Pardew start Kadar, Ferguson, & Guthrie, keeping the likes of Colo, Nolan, & Barton in reserve. Not slagging Pardew but he got it all wrong today.
-
Wot a load of shite. Pardew should never have put Tiote on anyway, should have been keeping him fit for the Mackems. Pardew should have taken this opportunity to start bench-warmers & reserve team players, they may have done better than the big boys. Well done Stevenage.
-
Pele desrcibed him as the only player who possibly could've been better than him. For once Pele not talking pish. Maradona has called Pele a goat-shagger though so he's not going to say El Diego might have been better than him. Me point is and I cant believe am typing this George Best wasn't shite. 28 goals from the wing in one of his seasons in an era when it was unheard of. He had twists and turns football had never seen before him. I don't want to offend Wykiki cos he's a canny lad, but it's an astonishing view. Seconded. Pele, Maradona, Cruff, Platini, etc etc, anyone who knows can't talk about the biggies without bringing up the name George Best. I was in Roker Park one time only, and the attraction was to go and watch Bobby Charlton & Georgie Best. Besty didn't disappoint, he was incredible to watch.

Don't even try that shit tonight. Fuck off you soft lad I think most fans can start to see some of Pardews influence coming through and thats nothing against Chris, just a fact. Go ahead then, how have you seen Pardew's influence? For one, I don't think Hughton would've put Ferguson on. Correct, only a tactical genius would have put a young, promising player on when the match is already well won. No, I don't think Hughton would have put Ferguson on, nor do I think Hughton would have started Best. With Carroll & Stroller missing I think Hughton would have started Ranger & Lovenkrands. I think Pardew's influence showed in his starting Best ahead of Ranger.

Good in the air? He puts the ball on peoples heads from the wing position you thick cunt. Oh dear you are obviously not familiar with the expression "good in the air". Andy Carroll is good in the air, get it now silly boy?
-
For me it's David Beckham. Sure he's a good player but besides being a brilliant passer of the ball and good in set pieces what else does he have to offer? Is he good in the air, good in the tackle, good at taking people on, good at tracking back? I think he is vastly overated.

Bollocks. Geordies cant ski. Dearie me Tom, how little you know. I can/could, and so can me mate from Whickham who lives near me.
-
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I thought we were shite as well. Lovely to get 3 points but in my opinion if we play like that against West Ham they will hammer us.

Fair comment Noelie. Kadar could have played, we know Perch isn't good enough, maybe Pardew will see it too. The real problem is, as you insinuate, we are badly short on cover for Enrique which is a disgrace tbh, even Keegan said when he was manager that he wanted competition for Enrique. Thank-you LeazesMag. I checked and see that Shane Ferguson is listed as Left-Back on the reserve team roster by the NUFC official website. So there was another option for Pardew to replace Enrique, one which may have made more sense than out of position Perch. And it adds to my comment about who plays in that position for the reserve team.

Shane Ferguson tearing apart international opposition
Noelie replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
I hardly, if ever, look at the Newcastle United official website but I've just been to see who Shane Ferguson is, and on the reserve team roster he is listed as Left-Back. -
Not slagging Pardew by any means, but I have to question his use of Perch at left-back when there are perhaps other options open to him. Perch has proven to be less than acceptable in his natural position on the right so why play him out of position on the left if there are other wild-card choices to take a chance on. Is there someone who regularly plays left-back for the reserve team therefore is familiar with that position and could have stepped up? Should he have taken a chance on Kadar playing out of position rather than Perch? Jonas is a left-sided player, should he have dropped him back and put Lovenkrands or someone else in front of him? I know it may sound like Monday morning quarterbacking but I always think about what I could have done in a similar situation.

Hughton 3 losses and two draws on the trot, before Pardew came in. I suppose I was making a point that sacking Hughton hasn't garnished an improvement as yet has it. Your second point come up time and again, yet time and again 10 men prove very difficult to break down, so where this fallacy of the game getting easier to win come from, I've no idea I never spoke of a win, only that we may have got a draw against 10 men. What's the fallacy in that?. I can understand why he wanted to flood the midfield which would leave us short at the back or up front. He took him off before he got a Red Card, so he took him off in time. That's true, but Tiote did commit a foul that could/should have seen him off, and the longer he stayed on was stretching the odds. I not a Pardew man by any stretch, but I think your arguments are flawed. My comments are not arguments, they're opinions, my opinions which I believe I am entitled to, flawed or not Mr. Fish.
-
Dog-doo, Par-doo, Hughton couldn't have done any worse than 2 losses on the trot. Didn't expect to win but when they went to 10 men I thought we may salvage a point. PERCH at left back???? why not Jonas?? he's played full-back for Argentina. No score at half-time raised hopes. Lone striker is not the answer, Pardew should have seen that last game. Should have taken Tiote off earlier, he was a red-card waiting to happen and we're lucky he didn't get one.

Another home defeat, very disappointing. 2 goals in the first 5 minutes didn't make for a very Merry Christmas feeling. Was surprised Pardew took Routledge off, I thought he was having a decent game. I think I would have put Ranger on for Nolan and kept the wings intact. I would expect to see Harper back next match after Krull's schoolboy blunder. Was disappointed that Pardew started with a lone striker in a home game.

Why not? it's the only place I'll see it cos I don't go anywhere else. Happy birthday. How many years younger than me are you?
-
i made the thread Then a special thanks to you Kevin.

Well now I see it, and thank you very much for the birthday greetings, the sarcasm, and the wit. I hope you are all around next December 13th, .......... but more importantly I hope to fuck I am.
-
C'mon Happy Face, anyone who's seen him kick around has seen him in boots.
-
Should we lose ......hope to hell we don't ....... there are 6 teams below us in the table who could leapfrog us. 3 could do it with just a draw, and 3 could do it with a win should we lose. Two or three are not likely to win but, you never know nowadays.

Just got back from the hospital(again) jumped so high when Barton scored I hit the ceiling and paramedics had to be called. I refused to leave the house until the match was over and had I not been strapped to the stretcher would have probably hit the ceiling again when Carroll scored. The doctor said I should watch in a place with higher ceilings. Campbell didn't look too good at the back. Shola may score the odd goal but he continues to be useless. Maybe Pardew will see that. Jonas' contribution is getting worse. His link-up with Enrique is great but nothing materialzes as an end result. Tiote still scares me with his pirouetting but he is soooo good. Barton hit great form today ........... and didn't hit anyone else. Ranger for his pace and work effort shold perhaps be ahead of Stroller in the pecking order. What a fucking GREAT result.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Noelie replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
C'mon , Pardew's a Londoner, he's friends with Lambiarse & Ashley, and he's an out of work manager with little experience of Premier league football. What more can you want? Knowing Ashley to be an astute businessman I can only believe that Pardew is the next best innovation since sliced bread and will lead us to glory if he doesn't get sacked first. HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN.- 10610 replies

Not pleased Mr. Fish, not pleased at all From Shola's first touch of the ball it seemed pretty obvious we weren't going to win this game. Only good thing was that they didn't score more than three. Very depressing to watch, I've tried to find a supportive suicide club but I can't find any members. Our strength down the wings was like a diluted glass of Bulmers.
