  1. Agreed, no promotion and mid table obscurity next season. Lets hope thats as bad as it gets
  2. Spot on and I'd echo the sentiment of protest not gaining us anything. Unfortunately I think we still have a long way to fall under the fat man.
  3. How the fuck does the crowd at the Riverside have any influence on the chairman? Christ they're over the moon if another dozen or so bother to turn up. Heard some smoggie on the Legends last night saying he was a season ticket holder but he wasnt going last night because he just couldnt be bothered, "its raining you know Bernaeeee, you're jokinnn arent ye Im not getting wet" plus he went last week and it "wasnt really all that good" Fickle fuckers. When Stevie takes the piss out of all the other clubs attendances they should be compared to that lot first, even when they had European success they couldnt fill the place.
  4. Bold move if true. Some players have a mental age of 13, and will take some managing, but presumably she's got balls I think its a distinct possibility when you look at this pic.
  5. 100million reasons why not. Protesting is the reason I turned up along with 250 others on that night over a year ago and its the reason why I and others stepped forward when it was needed. Its what we felt at the time was required, it soon transpired however that not everyone (or even many for that matter) felt the same. What we thought was the majority of fans turned out to be a vocal minority, getting abuse in the street while leafletting because people felt this bloke was the saviour of the club, having "financial stability" and "balance sheets" given as an argument for the fat man, being called worse than shit by fellow fans and then getting a police caution because the club didnt like what we were doing. Those Saturdays made me feel good, gave me a rush and a belief that I was helping gain something, that rush however only lasted for a Saturday afternoon by Sunday morning I was down again, frustrated by the lack of support and quickly realising it was having no effect on those it was aimed at but I did it because it was what I believed in and what I thought was needed. Its not what I believe is needed now though and, with the greatest of respect to the likes of yourself and others that feel the same way, I think Im qualified to say that because I was there doing the things you talk about at the time when it was needed, when it did have a chance of working. Were you? Did you take part at the time or where you one of the majority who believed we were doing more harm than good? The NUST are currently working with major players to try and get this club out of Ashleys grubby hands, to sit down in the boardroom on a Friday and talk about money, long term aims, sustainability and the ability of the fans to help run the club in a sensible and measured way and then on a Saturday pick up a banner and threaten to burn the place down does not mix. We'd be laughed out of the meetings and shunned by those we all need to make this happen. On top of that, where would we get the backing and promotion of the protests from? currently theres only one fanzine that supports the protest angle, True Faith. The other two big players (The Mag and .com) have made it clear that they dont believe that protests are the way forward and frankly its taken us long enough to get Biffa back on board. Lose them then both the protests and any fan ownership chances are dead in the water. More importantly though, its what Ashley wants. He knows he has zero credibility among fans and any he has elsewhere (except Wearside) is plummetting however once you start getting into a protest situation then some of those media outlets will turn and start portraying him in a different light. He wants to be able to turn around and issue another statement saying "you're all nasty to me, I know Ive made mistakes and Im not putting any more money in because of it" then he'll pull the "family at risk" card and a dozen muppets on NO will say hes hard done by and not such a bad bloke after all. He wants to discredit us fans as much as possible, just take a look at his last statement, the whole "I put £20m in each year, that more than the rest of you plebs put together" bollocks. This is now a game of wits, its a slow drawn out affair and one which cant be won by the side with the most muscle, it will be won however by the side that keeps its cool and works hardest. Ashley has bigger problems than Newcastle United, more pressing affairs than where our next win is coming from. Hes shitting bricks as far as business goes, hes caking it that he could be fined more than the value of this football club and could actually end up behind bars. Should that day ever come then there will be dancing on the streets of Byker until then I believe it has to be more of the same. Its going to be another cold hard winter.
  6. Theres only one surely out of this, and that is that surely even you must now realise Redheugh is full of shit.
  7. Now then Mike, Mikey boy, mate. How about proving that bold statement? When we were young and naive under your stewardship you made the same statement, that the club would be run properly and you would pump £20m per year in towards the purchase of new players. To date we've yet to see it. Now we are a Championship club, we have slashed the wage bill, cut normal staff by 120 or so, reduced costs left right and centre. Shirts (even the yellow ones) are flying out of the club stores and the gates week in week out are unheard of for this level of football. Yet you still make out that you're pumping the same amount of cash in annually with nothing to show for it, no purchases, no players of any form coming through the doors. I say thats poppycock old boy, its a downright lie in fact. As for Moat, the fact he wants to pay £40m now and £40m at the end of the season not only proves he doesnt have the cash but for me means that hes looking to get the club itself to bankroll half of the purchase. Gillette, Hicks and Glazer come to mind.
  8. gonorrhea or syphilis tbh
  9. no public requests for streams please
  10. Anyone got it? I think in currently sat next to him at the supporters direct AGM!
  11. If you're taking the train to an away game, try this before booking your tickets. Go onto nationalrail.co.uk and find the direct train you would get. So for example on Saturday. Newcastle to Nottingham leaving at 09:40 and arriving in Nottingham at 13:00 And the price, a single today for Saturday would be £64, you cannot book it on an advance price. Check out where it stops on the way, in this case its direct to Chesterfield and then onto Nottingham. Then do the same journey planner but from Newcastle to Chesterfield Train comes up as leaving 09:40 and arriving in Chesterfield at 12:06, you can book in advance and its £36 then try Chesterfield to Nottingham, leaves at 12:22 and arrives Nottingham 13:00 and its £9 total cost £45, a saving of £19 and you can book in advance! you dont even have to get off the train, you can pick both sets of tickets up at Newcastle. swizzling bastards!
  12. I remember the day he retired as a player, Football Focus did one of them compilations to "Lets hear it for the boy"
  13. Not a chance we've only got 1 person here who cums in their pants when Redheugh types.
  14. Bens blatantly starting a "GOAL! tour" for Japanese tourists. "On your left you'll see where they ran along a beach and a little further you can see where they ran back".
  15. Im fucking lost now like. What was supposed to happen today? is that happening tomorrow? or the day after? Has Geri Halliwell bought the club? Seriously though, did I read somewhere that Redheugh was stating a press release would take place today at 9pm? which so fucking obviously didnt happen. Is he now saying that it will some other day unless something happens to stop it? Like I say, he could prove his credentials by simply stating how much involvement the NUST has had with his company, that way would be so easy and would convince me.
  16. I take it you were shite at hide n seek as a kid. The NUST are going to be on a phone in, now where could I find the details of what the NUST are doing? where could possibly hold such information on the NUST and the things the NUST are doing? how about looking on nust.org.uk? if you did then you'd see that we'd twittered it > http://www.loober.com/toon.htm
  17. Seemingly the post mortem has found dried fruit up his bum. Police think he may have been date raped
  18. I think something that hasnt been made very clear is that this no longer involves Roberts or Speedie, Roberts especially made the whole thing smack of a dodgy dealing. Since those days its been improved, amended and fully checked out by qualified Financial Advisors. Sorry Pud, didn't mean any harm about it, since the story about Roberts and his fans consortium being interested in the club I've always thought it was a dodgy proposition. Misinformed. It wasnt aimed at you or anyone outside the committee, we ourselves havent made it clear to people that this isnt the original proposition or all of the original people involved. Certain individuals were anything but a good advert for it. To be clear though, the product is the same along with a few tweaks and some additional options for purchasing a stake.
  19. And as equally apathetic about his "going in" too.
  20. Isnt the nightclub they film in down the Quayside, Bar 52? or 51 or maybe 362? anyways its a number and I think its 52.

  22. It's at the top end nearer the bowling alley than the bike shops. On the left hand side ad you head down to town, just after the school I think
  23. There was a wee singer called gately, who has'nt been singing much lately, after a bottle of rum and a cock up his bum, his trip to the sun ended fatally.
