If you run the program and look in the options, there should be some kind of "run on startup" button kicking around somewhere. Re-tick that. Personally though, I would uninstall Avast and just download AVG free edition instead.

Sorry to hear about your kid Craig. Although I can't say I've ever been in a similar situation myself, I can imagine that it must really, really suck; especially given the time of year and whatnot (not that the time of year really makes a difference in such circumstances, of course). Things like this really do put things into perspective; even things like football, sharks and messageboard wars can seem completely and utterly insignificant by comparison (as unbelievable as that may sound)! Genuinely hope he makes a full recovery soon mate.

Ronaldinho should (and will) win in my opinion. He wasn't at his best for Barca last season, granted, yet he still played his part in more goals than pretty much any other player on the planet; take him out the team, and eto'o wouldn't have scored half the goals he did. On top of that of course, he's absolutely glorious to watch - a true entertainer. At the end of the day, this award is for the best FOOTBALLER over the course of the calendar year; and I think that, on both a domestic and international level, Ronaldinho has been by far the best.

I didn't enjoy this as much as I probably should have the first time around, but that's probably partly because I missed a few of the episodes. I do think the show lacked something though; maybe just a lack of real character development or continuity, I'm not sure. There was just something missing. I'll still get the DVD and watch it again like; I was critical of The Office when that first aired too, and it's now probably my all-time favourite show, so hopefully this will be the same...

This is the internet; one of the benefits of the internet is that you (YOU!) get to chose between which sites you want to read, and which sites you don’t want to read. So basically, if you don’t like a site - or it’s users – then just don’t fucking read it. Simple solution to a simple problem, no?

I think it might have been sorted by running it in compatibility mode with windows 98 or something. Or it might have been by updating graphics card drivers maybe? It wasn't anything overly complicated anyway.

Why would anyone not want to use Firefox ahead of IE; FF is quicker (albeit only marginally), it has tabbed browsing, it's open source - which means you can customise it to the MAX™, and most importantly, it's around 1,000,000,000% (source: rough guess) more secure than Internet Explorer. I suppose it is actually a pretty tight contest between them though... You know, if you just blissfully ignore all the major differences between them.
