50 Cent scored nine times with Butt scoring twice and Mendieta handing him the no. 99 shirt he wore in 1982's Champions League final between a Falklands XI and Argentina.

Butt scores twice

The most over-rated striker in the world ever? Oh good. 171093 Agreed, I hope to fuck we aren't looking to sign that loon. 171095 I agree in principle, but we're fucking desperate.
-
Carr being shit doesn't help. And you know you're fucked when you bring off your only left-back and replace him with Peter Ramage.
-
Bramble at his best...
-
Same here, hopefully we will put in a good performance and hopefully Luque will score - at best, it will mean he's found a bit of form and at worst, one or two Spanish clubs may become interested.

Roeder: New transfers 'close'- Guardian
Bombadil replied to Pegasus Bridge's topic in Newcastle Forum
Will His Lordship go into sulk-mode if we go ahead and buy Kuyt? -
I've sat in the home end at Highbury and there wasn't a problem. The fact that we didn't score and lost may have had something to do with it...
-
What happened to Anelka? I'd take him.
-
To be fair to the lad, I've never heard of him.
-
So's Graeme Souness, mate. Now stop telling me about your coaching qualifications before I wet myself. 168974 And so has Mick Wadsworth - best judge of a player ever, after Souness.
-
Lazy journalist rumour, not going to happen.
-
So am I. Roeder has made it clear what he is looking for in a striker (not too old, Premiership experience, "on the way up", capable of succeeding Shearer, with a point to prove) and let's face it, there aren't too many of those around. At this rate we'll end up paying £20m for Ronaldo (the fat one) on deadline day...
-
I like the way he suggests that the likes of Kuyt and Klose aren't really good enough for us because they've never played in the Premiership - the be all and end all of football. By the way, one player we haven't been linked with is Forlan - I guess that will change if he scores against us on Saturday.
-
What I don't understand is why we're not interested in Bridge. Babayaro is decidedly average and injury prone (Ramage as cover? ) and it's not often that a player of Bridge's calibre becomes available for £1m, £2m. We'd have a very realistic chance of getting him as well. We haven't had a genuinely good full-back in donkeys years.

-
The annoying thing about this transfer is that it gives our biggest current rivals almost £20m to spend. I'd rather he'd stayed at Spurs, he's not that good.
-
Bridge for £2m would be fantastic. Sounds like there's a realistic chance of it happening too.
-
We don't want Kuyt, he's foreign.
-
I'll be gutted if Spurs get Duff.
-
Hopefully we will sign a striker before the return tie - even if he isn't match-fit and doesn't play, it will give everyone a boost.
-
Villareal lost 1-2 at home to Maribor - puts our result into perspective.
-
We're not interested in fat cat foreigners, all we want is honest, hard-working Premiership journeymen, sorry, players.
-
It's not that bad a line-up. It's our first-choice midfield and defence, and Ameobi has a good record in Europe. I'm optimistic Luque will do okay as well. Not good enough for the league, but should be more than enough for tomorrow.
