The difference between a player like Viduka and Smith was clear yesterday. Viduka is good at what he does, can hold that ball and take some heat off, Smith couldnt do shit.

Was a bit odd. Bridge took someone of ours out, but nothing happened.... Smith got hacked quite a few times (he was also shit though but still) then Faye brushes Malouda's foot for their opener and gets booked, and whoever it was also got booked for pulling Essien's finger.

Malouda is such a little petty cunt. Always has been. Hate the man. Was a very typical NUFC v Chelsea game of the last 4 years tbh.

My prediction/opinion this time last year concerning Owen, was that he'd play more or less the whole season. Do reasonably well and get a few goals, then be sold in the summer for around £10m. For some reason I now think he'll still be a NUFC next season.

^ I don't know... That's the theory behind it, but over the years there really has been no pattern. Sometimes the team that came up as champs does the worst and the one coming through the playoffs has a good first season in the Prem. It seems completely unpredictable.

Ugh... what weak and annoying refereeing in that game. I see the standards in the UEFA Cup are still the same, nitpicking halting play all over the shop. Doesn't help when an Italian team is playing I guess.

I'd rather have teams like Leeds and Forest with a big history back in the Prem than the likes of Wigan and Reading. +1, or plus however much it is now (add Bolton to that also)
