  1. It`ll be anything other than his own fucking fault. Thursday it was the defence, the ref and the injuries.
  2. Defenders who cannot defend, wingers who cannot cross and strikers who cannot score its looking great isn't it. And as for Emre and Billy Elliott in the middle of the park fuck knows what they actually do. Kneejerk? Hell yeah, but watching this shite just is too depressing!
  3. I'm watching it and do not recall Carson having to have made a save either tbh
  4. We had the lions share of possesion in the first half hour but let Charlton take the game to us for the other 15 minutes. At times particularly in the period we were on top we knocked the ball about well, something that was unusual to see given that as of late we have not been able to pass the ball 5 yards. However in the final third we are awful. Martins needs to look up rather than running into 3 and 4 defenders and our crossing and final ball from the likes of Milner and Duff is shocking. Other than when we play the long ball I also still fail to see what Sib really does for the team. Don't get me wrong I am grateful for what he has done for us in some of our games but the majority of the time for me he looks nothing more than a less than average player.
  5. So those in the back four apart from Nobby have been made scapegoats...
  6. That can also be said in regards to Foster too.
  7. Lowestofts very own Justin Hawkings is now singing some shocking song, it must be that Australian accent they have down that way...
  8. Jesus, just how fecking bad can it get. Just had it on and the first two were painful to watch.
  9. My other halfs out with her work tonight so I have just had a curry and I am now having a Magners, but other than that I will be doing pretty much feck all..
  10. Whats everyones plans tonight?
  11. Butt has been good but I don't think I would go as far to say a revelation..
  12. School? you're 17 are you not? hence surely you shouldn't be in school now. 18 April 5th. I'm a 6th former at a school which goes from year 8-12. Also has a head boy and head girl. Both of which are c***s. I love how people who are 17 and not quite yet 18 when you ask them their age they always say oh I'm 18 in such and such and never say 17. Also has a jealous rage waiting to explode out of them due to not being picked as the "head boy" you just know Brock would LOVE that. Luckily enough for some you are always going to be known as the head boy at school *cough T27 cough* "Look at the size of that boy's melon. It's like an orange on a toothpick. "
  13. I see 2J still hasn't posted the latest addition to his collection..
  14. Whilst I am not naive and think we have the money to get them, we need a whole new back four.
  15. Steve McClaren has named his 23-man squad for England's upcoming Euro 2008 qualifiers against Israel and Andorra. Newcastle ace Scott Parker was the surprise pick for McClaren, who also welcomed back Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves following a broken leg. David Beckham's injury gave the former Middlesbrough boss one less headache as Hargreaves, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Michael Carrick and Parker contest the central midfield places. Aaron Lennon could well be given a right wing start with Kieron Dyer or Stewart Downing on the left supplying the ammunition for likely strikers Wayne Rooney and Andy Johnson. Watford's on-loan Ben Foster started England's friendly against Spain although Paul Robinson is likely to be back between the sticks against Israel and Andorra. Rio Ferdinand and John Terry should make up the spine of England's backline with Ashley Cole and Gary Neville the possible starting full-backs. Cole is suspended for England's game with Israel and with Wayne Bridge also out injured Jamie Carragher could well fill in at left-back. Peter Crouch's injury meant he was unavailable while there was no place for Aston Villa's Gareth Barry or Manchester City midfielder Joey Barton. England's 23-man squad: Robinson (Tottenham), Foster (Man Utd, on loan at Watford), Carson (Liverpool, on loan at Charlton); G Neville (Man Utd), Richards (Man City), Ferdinand (Man Utd), Terry (Chelsea, capt), Woodgate (Real Madrid, on loan at Middlesbrough), Carragher (Liverpool), A Cole (Chelsea), P Neville (Everton); Gerrard (Liverpool), Hargreaves (Bayern Munich), Lampard (Chelsea), Lennon (Tottenham), Parker (Newcastle), Carrick (Man Utd), Dyer (Newcastle), Downing (Middlesbrough); Johnson (Everton), Rooney (Man Utd), Defoe (Tottenham), D Bent (Charlton).

  17. By Alan Oliver, The Evening Chronicle Well, you would not want some of this lot in the trenches alongside you would you? When it comes to bottle, some of them must have been standing at the back of the queue when it was handed out. Newcastle United, I am talking about. How could players who were absolutely brilliant at St James' Park seven days earlier be so pathetic in the DSB Stadium last night as United said goodbye to Europe for another season? In fact, on the evidence of what I saw in Alkmaar last night, make that seasons. Glenn Roeder said before the match he needed every one of his players to produce on the night in what he expected to be a difficult game - and he was right. Ironically, it was Roeder's two signings, Obafemi Martins and Damien Duff, who were the two passengers along with young Paul Huntington, who looked out of his depth at left-back. As was the case at St James' Park, Martins missed a one-on-one with AZ goalkeeper Boy Waterman in the last 10 minutes - and when he is doing this and not scoring he may as well stay in the dressing room. The only nifty footwork he showed at the DSB Stadium came when, after the game, he neatly side-stepped the waiting media who had the temerity to want to know why he was so ineffective. Then there was Duff. They tell me that, despite all his success, the Republic of Ireland international thrives on kind words and an arm around his shoulder. Well he ain't going to get either after last night. I said after the debacle at Wigan Athletic I hoped I never saw Huntington, or any of United's young central defenders, used at left-back again but, with Celestine Babayaro and Stephen Carr having their permanent berths in the treatment room and Olivier Bernard not coming up to scratch, that is what happened again in Holland. I felt sorry for the kid who clearly does not want to play at full-back. Roeder did not agree with me, but I felt United were always going to have to score in the DSB Stadium if they were going to go through because I could not see them stopping Louis van Gaal's men at the other end. As it happens, since they were beaten in the semi-final of the UEFA Cup in Marseille three years ago, United have only failed to score away in Europe on one occasion in 14 trips - and that was in a game that did not really matter in Frankfurt last year. When they needed a goal last night they could not muster one. To be fair to Kieron Dyer, he was only inches away from one in the 54th minute after a superbly-worked free-kick with Nobby Solano. Two minutes later, AZ grabbed their second goal and it was really all over. The best that can be said of last night is the fact United were still in with a chance of going through to today's quarter-final draw right to the last kick. One lucky bounce or one bad refereeing decision would have done it. Unfortunately, the worst refereeing decision went against United when it was difficult to work out why Scott Parker's "goal" was disallowed in the closing stages. Really, because AZ deserved to win so much, it is not worth making an issue over. The difference between Roeder and van Gaal is the fact the controversial but talented Dutchman has sold a team and bought his own. In contrast, Roeder is still mainly working with other people's players. Clearly, some of them are not good enough.
  18. Not that many will really care..
  19. Its a stick on he'll still be given an extension.
  20. Aye he is fucking clueless. Some supporters try to cling on to the fact he had a half decent run at the end of last season but all he really done was play the players we had in their correct positions unlike Souness.
  21. But hes the 5th best fat twat in the league...
