  1. so who thinks that Andy Carroll wishes he had not won a Wembley Cup Winners Medal, instead of staying with a club who are selling their best players rather than play for a club that is aiming for the top positions again ? Maybe, for the record, this should be a poll
  2. isn't that why the thread was started ? Do keep up.
  3. are you a supporter of a cowardly terrorist scumbag organisation ? Do you spend your own cash supporting NUFC ? How long have you done this, if so ? What attracted you to the club in the first place ?

  5. This? What do I think? It kinda follows the trend and what I was saying earlier about revenue increasing but not as fast as costs. They are showing a small trading (though reduced) profit on operation. are they an example of how you [or others] think NUFC should be run, on and off the pitch ? Would you be happy with their finances and placings ? This question is also open to the football finance [non match-going] whizz kids.
  6. how many times have Newcastle finished above Liverpool in the past 40 years, and who owned NUFC during those years ? Fred never owned the club chum I've never said he did
  7. what a shame that the vast majority of people have bickered with me for years when they have really "shared my views" all this time. I knew you wouldn't keep up the self appointed policeman role for long either, as soon as you realised that most people have agreed with me for all these years, that replacing the old regime would in fact be a very difficult task, and one that Mike Ashley would never accomplish. Such posts are indeed all over this message board, posted by the vast majority of posters. The vast majority of people seem to agree with me too, that Andy Carroll has made a good move for himself, and the club is not backing its manager and showing the ambitions they should. Do you even read peoples posts? "You don't possess the necessary faculties to engage in a genuine debate and you manufacture opposition opinions"
  8. the role that you bestowed upon me? No I'm not bothering to do that anymore, just like I'm not bothering to get into actual discourse with you. Both avenues lead to madness, you see. You don't possess the necessary faculties to engage in a genuine debate and you manufacture opposition opinions that bear little, if any, resemblance to the opinions held by the people who try to argue with you. For what it's worth, I think if you dropped all the attitude and opened your mind a fraction you'd see that you share a similar view to the majority of people on here. what a shame that the vast majority of people have bickered with me for years when they have really "shared my views" all this time. 9. So, by this very post, you admit you will not be able to state "as fact" that Ashley's term at the club was a success or not until it's over. Just sayin' I'm saying I'm making a judgement and not using hindsight, or being deluded and naive. However, if I am wrong, then I will admit it. But I won't be. Pleased to see you continuing your role of admonishing people who accuse others of saying things they don't, by the way.

  11. So. Does anybody think Andy Carroll would have wished he was still playing for NUFC on sunday ?
  12. done and dusted hundreds of times, I'm not repeating myself. Look them up as HF says, you'll see I've been saying the same thing for years, and am still doing it because basically, everything I said is bang on course, otherwise I couldn't and wouldn't. Eh? You said that we'd be in 6th spot at this point of the season? what has that got to do with this thread, or even cowardly terrorist scumbags
  13. I've long advocated Stephen Leather as an author, he's now 2nd in this list http://www.thebookseller.com/news/lee-child-most-successful-uk-kindle-author.html

  15. i've plenty of things to do Gem lad. What have you been doing with yours the past week ? Working at work I've got absolutely nowt to do at the minute! Bored out my mind at work. Mr Branson might walk in at any moment mind.
  16. what is this like ? It's really good. It's like being in the mind of Johan Cruyff. Tells it like it is and also a great insight into his relationships with clubs and players as manager and some nice insights into the national side. Solid football book. Pards should read it. just got it on ebay. I now have 20,001 books to read in my "to-read" pile.
  17. But if the cancer's already there, you mean Mike Ashley ?
