  1. I assume you're referring to Ashley and Joe? Yeah sorry - the cheat brothers as I think of them.
  2. Being a bitter twat I'd like to see Keane leave SAFC. I'd also like to see one of the fuckers I really hate like Gerrard, Lampard or either Cole get a bad injury.
  3. Isn't satire supposed to mock the truth and not just state it?
  4. Wouldn't she have been Welsh though - what's that in sheep years? (As I said at a push puberty is "acceptable" - certainly more so than 9).
  5. You know damn well what I meant - the good stuff not how it depressingly really works
  6. I think you can take into account changes in morality but saying you can't judge altogether is wrong. I don't see anything wrong with saying that cannibalism, slavery, religious persecution and genocide were still wrong even if they were the norm for the period or the culture. I don't get this thing where people say that we can't use modern western cultural morality to judge things like FGM as different cultures are "none of our business" - I'm not a moral absolutist based on any religious dogma but I'm still "proud" of that modern western morality and I don't care when or where things I consider immoral take place. Having sex with 9 year olds falls into that category.
  7. I'll hold my hands up and say I thought the same - always thought he was a good player and I'm more disappointed than most that he's been shit.
  8. I would imagine throughout history that women have been married at younger than 16 which is sort of "acceptable" allowing for the times but I think 6/9 is beyond the pale. Even if the general "rule" was that puberty = womenhood, not many girls hit puberty at 9.
  9. From what I've read about the case, the book does appear to be a bit exploitative which I can see causing offence (which doesn't excuse violence) but I'm happy for more exposure about the fact that people whose prophet consumated a marriage with a 9 year old, have absolutely no right to lecture anybody on morality. I know they were different times with political marriages etc but that's no excuse - I was reading a couple of weeks ago that Mary Queen of Scots was betrothed to the Dauphin as a toddler but the marriage/consumation didn't take place until she was 18 or so.
  10. That bits okay and fair enough but in the full piece he whinges about being sacked saying talk of relegation was ridiculous which I ever so slightly dispute.

Did he ever use Q award winner as his criteria though? The fucker tried everything else. (I vaguely remember him naively trying Grammies without any research)
  12. It's hilarious but I'd like to see him prosecuted for hate speech - just for the hell of it . Also - "Fellatio Kills" - aside from heterosexual anal sex, how many of his "parishoners" is he condemning to hell?
  13. Somone at the box office told a mate of mine a few weeks ago that 25 points would be enough in the end - I'd wait a while if I was you.
  14. I think they're a decent team with Cahill - without him they are mid-table drudge.
  15. Aye, can't hlep but feel if we'd had KK and a fully fit squad we'd of mullered Hull, West Ham, Blackburn and Everton - because they've all been pretty poor against us. Would have us on 16 points When the fixture list came out, assuming defeat at OT, I thought we'd have about that many by now - only Villa and Chelsea as good teams to play before xmas as well - bastards.
  16. Games like this always frustrate me as I know we've battled and done well to get a point but at the same I know if we had a half decent team we'd bury the drug-dealing bastards.
  17. Tyler reckons Kinnear had said Enrique only had 45 mins it him which means picking him criminal. I've seen a procession of idiot managers bring hamstring victims back too soon and make them miss weeks as a result - queue another fucking idiot Also Duff is a fairy and I'm sadly being proved more right on Collocini with every game. Cracking cross by Geremi though and a great header - what's the betting Kinnear says Taylor can make it as a CF?
  18. I'm behind the team 100% but excuse me if I don't get enthused by the arrival of another cockney failure.
  19. There was a video about her church which was pulled by YouTube a couple of weeks ago which even with my contempt for religion I found scary. There theme song goes "There is nothing in this life for me" - its a rapture death cult and one of its members may be getting the codes. Edit: found it: Scary Video
  20. I've come to conclusion that all this "investing in the academy" is bollocks - by all means appoint a good coach but it's all down to luck - is there any team who've consistently produced top level players over a reasonable period? Man U had one fantastic batch (as West Ham possibly did) but virtually nothing since and have started to sign foreigners just like Arsenal and the rest.
  21. Never heard of the bloke but that's a plus point for starters.
  22. They don't write news - they write bullshit based "blogs" full of lies where they denigrate people from the NE and wish the worst on our club - the only "news" that appears in the media is the score.
  23. Part of me thinks he was right but I found it a bit too personal - as someone else said it was a chip on his shoulder from his previous life that he wanted to get out of the way. If that's all it is and any future outbursts are in defence of the club then I have no problem with him arguing with the idiots and expressing passion for the job.
  24. See again you're spinning the same PR bullshit the club churns out. Players have been trialled by the club but we all know Keegan wasn't the one making the decisions. Or do you have proof to the contrary? By the way you typing out more club propaganda doesn't constitute fact. So the club have players in on trial for the manager to look at but he has no say on whether the club signs him or not, that decision is down to the London mafia who were widely reported to not even be in the country at the time so couldn't have seen him train anyway. You couldn't make it up. What if Keegan did like Zayette and asked them to sign him and then they refused or failed for whatever reason? That constitutes "final say" in one sense but still leaves the player unsigned. Why would they refuse to sign a player on loan in a position we're short on that the manager is happy with? It's not as if he'd break the bank in wages as he's signed for Hull. It's just so obvious yet people are just desperate to defend Keegan of any wrong doing whatsoever. Maybe refuse was the wrong word - unless by then they had a deliberate agenda to piss him off which though I've never thought of it before, is possible. Maybe Hull did offer more money and the deal failed for "normal" reasons - if this is so then your agenda against Keegan is just as desperate.
