I don't know the details but SSN implied that Scunthorpe have had no choice but to play the kids for the last few games at least - maybe since their relegation was confirmed but they seemed to be saying it was one of the reasons they had gone down.

The fact that he's reportedly shocked by the vitriol directed at him indicates he either thought they'd treat him differently or he's very naive. Writing an article for The Sun was also a fucking disgrace. There were plenty of people in the Labour Party who worked against Corbyn (which is why they won't release the Forde report) who are now on his team.

I think it's hilarious that he cozied up to the mail and the sun in the hope of a Blair type endorsement and he and his camp are now whinging at the nasty men who are picking on him. They were happy with the press when they were shitting on Milliband and Corbyn to a much greater degree of course.

I still feel a bit sorry for Corbyn on brexit - he had to try and keep both sides onside - going either way full on would have cost him either way. Maybe the 2017 respect the result view would have been better electorally.

Burnham, Cooper and the rest lost to Corbyn because their "manifestos" for the leadership election were absolute dogshit - no underlying principles or vision. I do agree that Burnham looks competent though.

Other Games 21/22: Talk about Actual Football

Southampton could be caught in a CT type decent triple run for Everton/Leeds/Burnley - their last two games are liverpool home and Leicester away. -

Reading keeper's just done a Shay Given at Coventry. -
Honesty? He lied through his teeth with his ten pledges during the leadership election and since has ordered abstentions on anything requiring principles - oh except for once when he changed an intended abstention on the policing bill to a vote against based on the Sarah Everard vigil making it impossible to follow his plan. Of course he made sure it passed in the Lords by giving Labour peers the day off. He might get back his tory focus group gammon bigots but he's losing Muslims, students, greens and others by the bucket load.

Anyway "if the players I was setting up were better I'd make more goals" fails miserably because: a. The cunt never passes and b. When he does they go astray and c. It's not like he's making chances that are missed. So he's saying his non-existent passes would reach better players which is shite as its his responsibility to hit the players we do have. It's also not as if he made loads of goals for Wilson when we did have better than what we have now.

He'll look stupid when he's one of the first ones replaced.

You're forgetting the historical county of Durham trumps all other logic. They are County Durham's team. Fact.

Meaningless substitute on Sunday, in for Arsenal and Burnley.

Definitely - on a personal note and affecting others more recently their interference in the euthanasia debate pisses me off too.

I was reading a Jewish view from a rabbi which accounting for it being religious actually made a bit of sense - they believe life starts and the soul is enshrined at birth and consider the life to be preserved when there's a choice to be the woman's which I agree with from my atheistic moral compass. I think the "conception" concept of Catholicism/Christianity is a bit out of date and very much arbitrarily chosen for political purposes although I can understand the queasiness around later/late abortions.

He did have an excellent game against Chelsea but I'm struggling to think of anything else anywhere near that that clearly justifies this.

That's exactly the strategy since the start - along with state level bollocks like Texas.

The republicans have been working towards this day since Reagan when the evangelicals came on board - Trump is incidental.

Not sure about on here but I can remember describing Allardyce as a "grown up professional" in his early days. I think Derby away changed everything for me and opened my eyes even more than the Portsmouth game.

He sort of has a point about how language has changed but its just one of those things you recognise and respect as part of being decent and shouldn't have to think twice about accepting.

And was happy to fuck fans over with the expansion via the cunt he appointed (Fletcher).

It was always Carlisle being East of Edinburgh that got me.

I've always used that one as well - that bend in the Tyne at Hebburn has a lot to answer for

Damn, that equaliser means two teams have to better their result on Saturday rather than just one.
