missed an importnat point there - no N -Bomgb

partly becuase he scared off all the Jews of course

Yes, but they were working on the bomb and the Amerika-Bomber was on the assumption that they got the bomb. Obviously as things turned out they didn't.

Undoubtedly scaring off the Jews hindered the Nazi's nuclear programme as many of the leading German scientists were Jews and had fled to America and Britain throughout the 1930s.

Warsteiner

When we were in Frankfurt, between checking in etc, and getting out on the lash, we dived into a small, basic carry oot next to the hotel (comparable to Salt & Peppers in town, but smaller.) We all got a Pizza, and a bottle of Warsteiner. It was probably the best beer I drank for the remainder of my stay. Lovely stuff. The pizza was excellent aswell.

<_<

Bitburger

Warsteiner

Lowenbrau

DAB

There are probably about 200 better beers tbh...

I like them. What do you reckon are better?

I especially suggest Augustiner (though, that's even in Germany difficult to get outside of Munich), Andechser, Jever, Tannenzäpfle, Hasseröder, from the biger ones even Becks and Krombacher and a lot from smaller breweries.

Tannenzäpfle is one of my favourite beers. I can even get it at my local supermarket. Superb.

Licher beer

Tegut food

Imbiss burgers

and I'm shocked nobody has mentioned this:

The döner kebab with salad and sauce served in pita, which is predominant in Germany and the rest of the world, was invented in Berlin-Kreuzberg in 1971!

The Messerschmidt 262

the world's first jet fighter

if Hitler hadn't been such a megalomaniac insistent on using it to bomb civilians rather than fight the RAF, then we would have been FUCKED

...and the 109e

Which (a) is fucking fantastic when you eat it over there, and (<_< has been largely corrupted to an inedible mess in the UK.
