Why is Viduka 36???

His weight in stones.

Watch it Ken will get upset at you!

Give you a hint.

3+6=?

Why not 18 then?

Why not 54 then? :crying:

Because 54 is a rubbish number. So is 36. People normally want numbers in the 1-11 because it makes them seem like first teamers. (18 is closer to 11 (and 9) than 36 or 54!)

I remember when Zamorano hat 1+8 on his shirt after someone (Ronaldo?) stole his #9 shirt.

When Zamorano had that for Inter it was brilliant. The little plus sign in between the number was sensational and should be part of football these days. More of it = greater the game. We could include minus, divide symbols etc.

What about Vitor Baia and the infamous number 99?

:jesuswept:

3+3=6

3+6=9

or

3+3+3=9

We know his arse maybe wide but 333 would truly make him a laughing stock.

It's not 1984 any more, when was the last time you saw a team take to the field with 1-11 for their players numbers???

Last time I watched Elgin. :crying:

Nearly always, the best players in every squad will be in the 1-11 range. Obviously there will be exceptions but the majority will have a low number.

Do not use Stephen Carr as an example if you reply.
