No, that's not how the criteria works. We need to have 8 players who meet the criteria (this includes young players who've been here long enough / developed here so people like Fabregas count for Arsenal). To put it another way out of the squad of 25 you're therefore allowed 17 players who are 'foreign' under the criteria. Krull will have trained here for three years or prior to the age of of 21 so he would count, so we have three keepers for a start. You then have Pearch, Simpson, Taylor, Taylor, Williamson, Smith, Gutherie, Barton, Nolan, Gosling, Gutherie, Routledge, Carroll, Shola, Worst, Ranger. That's 19 with only Ranger and one of the keepers likely to be shipped out on loan. Don't think we have much to worry about on this score because there's no chance of the wholesale changes that would be needed to get rid of the undoubted shite that's included among that lot.
