Renton 25039 Posted Sunday at 21:54 Share Posted Sunday at 21:54 Watching that Olivia Rodridgo lass with my now teenage daughter. "At least she's easy on the eye" I say. "Paedo" says she. FML I feel old.

Monkeys Fist 47250 Posted yesterday at 13:59 Share Posted yesterday at 13:59 “ explaining to a fly why honey is better than shit” I’ve never liked Neil Young tbh, whilst not denying his talent, legacy, etc, having the Saturday night headline slot filled by a 79yr old says something. Quite what, I don’t know.
Alex 38452
It nails a lot of my feelings about Glastonbury like. And that’s having seen barely any of it this year. The point about Rod Stewart as well. I mean he was a parody of himself when I was a kid in the 80s. I do think he did some ok stuff about a decade before that but he’s that type of artist where I just cannot fathom anyone wanting to see live, ie a renowned vocalist whose voice is absolutely shot. It’s just embarrassing for all concerned. Then you have the BBC presenter cunts going full North Korea and insisting (I assume, as they did with Elton John) that it was a <insert superlative here> performance for the ages.

Fucking hate Glastonbury nowadays like. So many reasons. And Rod Stewart man. Jesus. Reminds me of a time I went to this pub in Tenerife and the place was some weird shrine to him. I think Maggy May was canny and that's about it. The barman/owner started sweeping the floor pretending he was RS using the broom as a mike. Mind, that was 20 years ago, he may have had some life still in him then. Same with "I'm Dill Danding" Elton John. 2

I saw plenty of pro-Palestine chants led by musicians in the coverage I’ve watched. Dr Gloom 24681
I enjoyed a few bits and pieces. It’s obviously no longer a guitar festival. It has become a commercial behemoth while still retaining some of what made it special 30 years ago. It’s clearly more sanitised but at least you don’t get the TK Maxx sponsored stages etc like you do at other festivals. Wet Leg, Busta Rhymes, the libertines, Supergrass, Pulp, Charlie XCX, Four Tett, Prodigy, Self esteem, Kneecap and Lola Young among my favourites of what I’ve watched so far

Ayatollah Hermione 15483
The headliners are what they are but the rest of the bill continues to be massively underwhelming every year. Not sure if they won’t fly bands/artists in and rely on scooping up whoever is currently touring the UK/Europe but Howay, Busta Rhymes ffs
