As we keep saying, a lot of traditional labour supporters and those who occasionally vote that way see these as blockers no matter how much they may agree with his policies. That's just depressing. A prime minister should be someone who is an obvious leader of people - an "alpha" if you like. To be fair it can be overcome to a certain extent - I wouldn't call Cameron any kind of alpha by any stretch of the imagination but it's obvious that people did see that in him - more fool them.
