thebrokendoll 14245
oh. the club will also pay lip service to the n.u.s.t. on ticketing issues. fully aware they're that fucking bollockless they'll roll over and have their bellies tickled to anything they're told. ewerk 39236
It’s made the BBC website. Apparently the tickets didn’t come from the club but an ‘approved provider’. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/czdjlnr7dr6o

Apparently the tickets didn’t come from the club but an ‘approved provider’. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/czdjlnr7dr6o There'll be a few blocks of tickets available through corporate/tour providers every game for most clubs I would suspect. In my last gig there were pretty frequent emails about jollies to sports events, (including football matches) that went around, mainly down south and often midweek so no good to us northern types. Been going on forever.
ewerk 39236
I get emails all the time from corporate sellers for the likes of City, Spurs, Liverpool and Man U but never had anything for Newcastle. We don't seem to have official resellers the way some other clubs do.

ewerk 39236
From that Beeb article. Quote It is understood that 78 Newcastle season tickets or memberships have been cancelled this season for unauthorised selling. About 4,500 membership accounts are on an internal watchlist because of suspicious activity, while about 750 supporters are being actively monitored for potential touting. Newcastle are purchasing unauthorised tickets in an attempt to identify the sellers. More than 130,000 bot attempts have also been foiled for the Barcelona game.

PaddockLad 22503
Stinks of PR bullshit. How TF have 45 seats all together found their way to one reseller? It's the ticket scalping bots that are doing it, they're illegal in the UK but am not sure how you enforce that here let alone abroad?...

aimaad22 6002
So let's say one of them pesky foreign types ever wanted to attend a game, the only real 'legal' way would be to pay ridiculous sums for a hospitality ticket? Is that right? @HMHM just asking for a friend who I don't even like

I literally don't believe a word that comes out these cunts mouths. lie, after lie, after fucking lie. and they'll keep getting away with it. there's a little part of me feels a bit sorry for the posh kids from dundee, if indeed their tickets have been cancelled. nowt more than pawns in a pr exercise by the club, pays a bit of lip service to the n.u.s.t. because these cunts are fucking useless, they're like the really shit shop steward in a factory who was even more shit at his job but gets promoted to chargehand because he manages to convince the shopfloor the union have squeezed an evtra 0.25% payrise out of the company they were always gonna get anyway. there's genuine supporters who were blocked from buying TWO tickets for the forest game. some fucking touts these mind, didn't even try to maximise their colossal profits by bothering to have the maximum 6 linked accounts, because they were gonna make that much fucking profit reselling their TWO tickets. fucking pathetic.

I wouldnt be in the least surprised if you're one of the 4,500 accounts flagged for 'suspicious activity', in fact Iwould say it's almost a certainty. £37 well spent.
