I feel a bit for Wilson. He has had terrible luck with injuries all his career. It was only a matter of time before they took their toll. It's normally a lengthy time out finishes an older player off. I'm surprised Trippier has regained his form as he had a long time out as well. He can't seem to complete 90 mins though which is no good for next season.

Aye.

Normally when he's come back he's looked alright and even scored early and made an impact.

This time though. Fuck me. Has he even touched the fucking ball.

Hope reckons Delap's people think if Isak is still here, we're not gonna be the right place for him.

So he wants to be main man. Can't blame him like.

He left Man City cos Haaland was in from of him so it makes a bit of sense. The only caveat to that is we run our players into the ground so he’d get more game time, especially with European competition in our calendar now.

I think I’d prefer Ekitike as he’s a very similar profile to Isak and we wouldn’t have to change the way we play when they rotate.

Not that I’m turning my nose up at either option. I remember when we were fishing in the Shefki Kuqi pond

Sounds like he also has interest from 'bigger' clubs so we'd have the same problem as in Delap's case. He's very talented but he blows a bit hot and cold doesnt he? As someone said probably a lot more expensive too, dont see us going for him unless the Mitch summer is VERY hot.

Not sure how streaky he is but he’s got 14 goals and 5 assists in 29 appearances for Frankfurt this season. I’ve only seen him in a couple of games but he was the standout player on both occasions.

Spurs are reportedly interested in him too and Transfermarkt reckons he’s worth €50m, so a little more expensive than Delap if they’re to be believed. The time to buy him was probably when he left psg

Ekitike has turned us down twice already so that ship has sailed.

Lets not be like Gemmill trying to pick up that 18 year old in the Bigg Market on a night out, telling her his predictions she will head home with him for the night :D

  • 2 weeks later...

Kellys transfer to Juve has apparently been sealed for 14 million because he has played enough games for them

Up to 6 million in add ons if they qualify for europe etc.

Big Mitch has played an absolute blinder there.

Some of their fans are coping very poorly suggesting that this deal is a favour so they can sign Tonali in summer
