i stopped paying any attention to him when he was stirring the shit, with his incessantly negative click hunting reporting, in the summer.

My first ever cup game was Brighton, the cunts beat us 2-0. Found some old CCTV footage that captured me and my dad wishing the Brighton players getting on their coach home good luck in the next round.....

You can equally blame the nature of modern journalism for that…it’s driven by clicks, especially the likes of the Daily Mail….

I don't believe that's original CCTV footage at all. It's a deep fake, isn't it?

No, it was in 86, I remember the Mills game and people being pissed off but that was 83.

Aye. That was the year they lost in the final (via replay) to Man Utd iirc. I think that’s the first cup final I can properly remember.

First one I remember is the Spurs v Man City replay when Villa scored that everyone raved about including my dad but when you look now you think 'it wasn't that good?' I also remember everyone at a game v Derby coming out and being amazed at how good Shilton was in a 0-0 draw basically single handedly getting derby a point with loads of superb saves but years later I saw highlights of it and they were absolutely nothing at all apart from routine saves at best. :lol:

Aye. The Villa goal is massively overrated imo. I even thought that years ago when you saw it being constantly mentioned as a wonder goal. I suppose the lack of televised games plus the context of the cup final being such a massive fixture fir all football fans back then elevated it

That treble talk is the perfect example, designed to wind up people for clicks. Factually correct but taking the piss for a club that's won nothing for a lifetime. He's a wind up merchant, you'd notice it if you weren't so busy being the BANTER KING.

Anyway it's working for him since I've given him more time today that he deserves, should just be straight down the Ryder/Edwards/Taylor ignore bin.

:lol: it was obviously just a tongue in cheek statement of fact. It wasn't designed to wind anyone up, so it's WEIRD AS FUCK that it's had this effect.

What a baffling interpretation of a little throwaway joke.

So far tonight, you've been wound up by that, and also by some stuff that he's never done which you just made up and said that he had done. STRANGE BOY.

I prefer Edwards but that might just be the Holystone / Palmersville / Forest Hall tri-state area in me talking.

I know two people who (RIGHTLY! 😆) said Steve McKenzie’s goal in the same match was better;

1. @LondonBlue

2. My mum :)

That was Wyki btw but I did agree with him :lol:

I'm at work after a 2 week break and not really in the mood to get back to it, Hope (the irony of the name btw) just picked the wrong day to post another one of his thinly veiled sinister jibes that REAL MEN will have none of.

Yeah I don't imagine him giggling in a corner everytime something bad happens to the club unlike a certain someone. Just that the quality of his journalism is shocking sometimes.
