Palace have pace at the back allowed them to cover way better than us.

The villa midfield was bossed as well. Wharton was good. They are pretty lethal on the counter on their day as well.

Watkins was tragic today.

Ha, suck it Villa. Life comes at you fast.

Shows you Eddie is just on another level as a manager to the media darling coaches reaching cup finals and challenging top 4 consistently with a much more limited squad.

I think Emery has proved himself as a very capable manager. He took an underperforming side, made some shrewd additions and really got them playing. But over the past five years they’ve been the sixth biggest spending club in the PL so you would expect them to be around about where they’re at. For comparison, we’re the eight biggest spending club in the PL and are sitting third and have won a trophy so there’s no doubt that Eddie’s massive cajones are outperforming Emery’s shrivelled pea sized testicles.

The big difference between the two is that I believe that Emery looked at our managerial vacancy as a job. Eddie Howe looked at it as his personal project.

Dracula probably didn’t fancy a relegation on his CV whereas big nuts Howe had the perfect sized cajones to do the job.

I had a look at their forum today and they are fuming.  When they look back on the season then it must be the best they’ve had for most of the fans lifetimes. Still, no pot in the cupboard though.

Aye if we’d been beaten at Wembley/by Arsenal and were sat where Villa are the knives would be well and truly out for Howe. Difficult to see either club attracting better managers as they stand…

I wonder what they think of Rashford missing todays defeat injured but managing to turn up at the boxing alongside Declan Rice.

Talking heed from the anfield wrap on 5 live just now saying they there wil be 2 million people on the streets of Liverpool when they parade the league title trophy through the city…so let’s look at how likely that is..

So that’s every man, woman and child attending regardless of age, football allegiance/interest in the first place, work shift pattern on the day, holiday plans, medical situation (CLEAR THOSE MALINGERERS IN THOSE BEDS, THE REDS ARE ON A BUS!! 😆) religious affiliation or any other reason legitimate or otherwise that will prevent attendance on the day IN THE WHOLE OF MERSEYSIDE, including the Wirral and up to Southport……AND 500,000+ VISITORS

Wonder if Arsenal's "title challenge" will finally end today. Sad day for Sky, if so.

They didn't make a fucking peep when our "title challenge", just as valid as Arsenal's, was cruelly snuffed out by Villa last weekend.

Let's say he's right, it still won't be as many as the mackems took to Maine Road that time in 91. It went up a thousand every time they went back to the commentator on metro radio for an update.

Quite happy with the way we continue to fly under the radar. But given where we are in the league, the run of results you mentioned (20 wins out of the last 26 games was it?) on top of the fact we’ve actually won a fucking trophy and it’s all a bit Comical Ali from Sky and the BBC tbh. You get the feeling they would love us to blow it and miss out on CL football next season

The main UK sports broadcasters are absolutely complicit in the growth of the 'rich 6' (should now be 'artificially rich 6'). Caught a bit of sky talking about WOLVES beating LEICESTER CITY 3-0 and their anchor introducing a clip of a Cunha interview with 'Manchester United target Cunha scored a goal in Wolves 3-0 win over Leicester...." What the actual fuck has Manchester United got to do with wolves beating Leicester? Also saw a BBC headline about Howe mentioning how Tindall was 'in charge of a 4-1 win over United' and that's the type of shit that is now the norm as they've decided on the monopoly route where the current clubs with the most money/support take absolute precedence from everything from screen time to discussion to even deleting club's names on their graphics to monopolise on two club's names to the detriment of everyone else. Cunts.

In the big spoons at New Street station last Saturday we were chatting away and someone said “big 6” just as this Villa fan was walking past with a couple of pints…

I hope we’re all watching opting to watch the cup semi final on council tv rather than the coronation of the cunts on sky later on:cuppa:

(that goes for those enabled to do both simultaneously, capice? 🫵)
