ewerk 39233
We're unlikely though to get a top striking target in January. Despite our feelings and that of the squad I think it's vital that we re-integrate Isak to the first team.

An arrangement of mutual benefit going forward, not one of love. Much like one of Gemmill's marriages.

I sincerely hope we give those scouse cunts an absolute battering on Monday - primarily because I want him to realise, with no doubt, that he's backing the wrong horse. I fear it will be like the Battle of Nuremburg. I think we can match them in most departments but without Isak....... well, fuck that TURNIP SUCKING GOON. I am fucking sick of scouse comments online, implying this and that. If the cunt wants to leave where is his transfer request? If you want to buy the cunt, why did you lowball us? Fucking arseholes. This is our reward for winning something, this is the result of becoming a threat - totally and deliberately destabilised. Even if they don't get Isak it is well and truly job done by Liverpool. The saving grace is the Saudis will quietly play the long game and we will see this turn around. Now though, this is a fucking awful start to the season.

It reminds me, of sorts, of Jan 1995 and we went 6 months without a replacement for Cole but effectively wrote off the rest of the 94/95 season in doing so. Those scouse cunts have done a proper number here. Even if they don't get their man, their job of destablising us is done. And it's a cunt's trick - any negativity aimed in their direction is totally justified.

Liverpool football club have set out to humiliate us this summer and they've successfully done so. The knock backs from specifically Etikike then him joining Liverpool and to a slightly lesser extent Sesko were brutal. We have signed players like these from the start of the takeover and now we seemingly can't....
Craig 12383
Yeah, that's a bit dramatic on reflection It doesn't write the season off, but it puts a massive dent in what might have been - all because of one greedy cunt.

Most likely because until now, they didn't see us as a threat and probably more of a threat to those in and around them. The fact they're gazumping us says to me they're terrified of us. That was the difference here. Had neither of those clubs come in, we could have signed both of them, and that's been no different since the takeover. I agree that both have been very damaging hits though.
Dougle 4598
1 hour ago, Craig said: My usual attitude when a player who's done well for us moves on is to wish him well in all but any games we play against them, or that are materially advantageous for his new side to lose. I wish this prick nothing but bad - and it's all on account of how he's behaved. The most recent player who wanted to move on that springs to mind is Shay Given. I was fucking annoyed and made it clear at the time, but I understood where he was coming from so was ambivalent to him unless he way playing against us. This arsehole, I hope, gets minimal game time and his career crashes and burns. Dúbravka pissed me off and that situation still does, but fair play to the bloke he reintograted well enough and seemed to give his all for the club Edited August 19 by Dougle

Read a couple of things that suggested PIF wanted to invest in LFC a few years back and were shut out by FSG. Might be something to do with that too.. Same time as Given, but he went to a Villa who created the blueprint for the mackems of spending years circling the drain before finally getting relegated. (Aye, I know we went down that season, but maybe we wouldn't have if that cunt had stuck about).
Craig 12383
Another who possibly redeemed himself slightly (I emphasise slightly before TP / TBD go off on one) was Nicky Butt. I thought his time with us was most definitely over after the 2005 FA Cup Semi Final debacle and subsequent loan to Birmingham but he definitely redeemed himself somewhat after that and was in integral part of the team that got us back to the PL at the first opportunity in 2009/10.
