What is pretty apparent by looking at these pots is that, while everyone knows the expansion is a ridiculous idea, it’s also eliminated the Group of Death entirely. I suppose to be replaced by more jeopardy in the knockouts. Anyway, 104 games will be played, up from 64. That makes no sense. I didn’t say that I’m saying that it absolutely removed a lot of the jeopardy of the group though. Means they didn’t have to play a knackered Isak for starters.
