Was listening to Neu! - Hollagolla on the way to work this morning.

Motorik heaven.

Only got hold of Neu!, Neu! 2 and Neu! '75 last year.

Great stuff.

Got into Neu and Can through an old goth friend from Tynemouth when i was a kid (before techno), it wasnt until a few years ago that i realised that Neu! probably invented the 'rolling' techno/house sound a la Carl Craig etc.

By the way i eventually got a hold of Battles - Mirrored last night as you've been banging on about them for ages. Top stuff and elements of the motorik sound coincidentally.

Max Tundra - Paralax Error Beheads you

I'm only up to Orphaned, but it's an incredible album. Sequenced on an Amiga apparently. This track sounds like a fantastic pop song being forwarded on a cd player.

Faith No More - The Real Thing.

;)

The album or the song? Either way, class.

Was just the song, but as you say, such a class album.

currently into break beats and fidget house, although I do like Skalpel at the minute. Anybody got any suggestions given those criteria?

Dan Deacon - Bromst

Build Voice is particularly good.

Just listening to this for the first time now.

Group Bombino - Guitars from Agadez Vol.2

Went through a period of listening to a ton of African music and slowly starting to get back into it with this. Side A is Jekyll, with light acoustic tracks while Side B is the Hyde with distorted, electronic songs. Good, good stuff.
