Group Bombino - Guitars from Agadez Vol.2

Went through a period of listening to a ton of African music and slowly starting to get back into it with this. Side A is Jekyll, with light acoustic tracks while Side B is the Hyde with distorted, electronic songs. Good, good stuff.

You got the radioclit mixtape?

African bastardisation of Western culture. Good album....and free to boot.

Apart from the £3.60 pints the atmosphere is quite nice before the gig and very relaxing.

I went to see Joe Bonamassa in hall two and the sound was awesome.

Nicole Scherzinger - Jai Ho

I refuse to refer to them as 'The Pussycat Dolls' when only one of them fucking sings.

I also question as to why I'm listening to this shit anyway.

Hall 2 is the bollocks when it's full for a standing gig.

You can always guarantee some interaction with the turn if you sit on level one behind the stage too.

Ah right!

This was pretty class for a seated gig, I'm sure it was hall two.

Either way it's a very pleasant venue.

Aye, even though it's smaller it's better than hall one whatever the setup....and hall one is excellent.

Aye, I love it. Their take on Vampire Weekend is top notch.

As for listening now. Harry Nilsson's Aerial Ballet. On one hand, it's near perfect pop music but on the other hand, it influenced Macca to write Maxwell's Silver Hammer so I'm undecided on it really.
