She alleges he beat her while she was pregnant, choked her, stabbed her with a broken wine glass and pushed her into a bath. The claims are detailed in divorce papers filed by former model Heather, who alleges that Sir Paul drank and took illegal drugs before lashing out – and called her “an ungrateful bitch”. Friends said he would fight the claims when the couple’s messy divorce reaches court next year. A source said: “He denies the claims completely and cannot believe he would ever be accused of such behaviour. He’s absolutely furious. He only ever cared for her.” Heather, 38, says in the papers filed yesterday that the ex-Beatle was “physically violent” and acted in a “vindictive punitive manner”. The documents list an attack in Los Angeles in November 2002 when Sir Paul allegedly grabbed her by the neck and pushed her over a coffee table. The following year, when she was pregnant with their daughter Bea, now two, it is claimed he “became angry” and “pushed” her into a bath. Then in April, a month before they split, he is said to have poured wine on Heather who has an artificial limb after losing her leg in a road accident.
