2nd best leg-spinner of the last ten years tbh, consistently out-performs Warne when they play together as well. Mind you, that's partly due to opposing batsmen thinking they can have a bit of a breather when Warne goes off and MacGill comes on the other end.

It's a bit easy to say the when the biggest-wicket taking paceman and the biggest wicket-taking spinner retire they're going to go through a lean spell, isn't it. Just because the players coming through aren't showing as much promise as those two doesn't mean they will be total shite.

Clark is good, but not up to McGrath's level yet. England will miss Simon Jones more than anyone else in the next 5 tests. I'd argue if you were to ask any of the Australian top order he would be the bowler they would remove from the team given the choice. Flintoff isn't a patch on Vaughan tactically as well.
