  1. Mainly slagging Rangers off and their fans. So basically doing what most spackerjack fans from other clubs do on this forum until they walk in to a barrage of cunts from you? Total lack of self-awareness tbh
  2. Stevie laying on the irony in spades again?
  3. Liverpool population- 460,000 Newcastle population- 190,000 From 2001 census. Catchment area?
  4. 19th Newcastle. Fuck the rest.

    Leeds United

It was ridiculous how many 1-0 wins Man Utd amassed in that run in. Due to Cantona and Schmeichel Lost count of who many Man Utd 1 (Cantona) Other Team 0 there were
  7. A sad state of affairs in truth. When you consider where they were only a couple of years ago (FA Cup winners, in Europe and beating AC Milan) it highlights just how quickly it can all go to shit. Hope they do get themselves sorted for their fans if nothing else. If it had happened to NUFC we'd be devastated. They drew with Milan iirc. Inzaghi equalised in the 94th minute or something

    Leeds United

I've agreed with most of what you say over the years though Wasn't sure if you mean't Rob Lee, Gordon Lee, or Francis Lee. Yes I agree with you there too. Gordon Lee did very well at Everton, and was much maligned at Newcastle too. He didn't win a trophy at Everton, but took over when they were fighting relegation, and in 4 years finished 3rd once and 4th twice, and reached 2 Cup Finals. He also put into place the youth system which gave them Southall, Sharp, Stevens, Mountfield, Sheedy, Ratcliffe ie the backbone of the team that won 2 league titles, an FA Cup and Cup Winners Cup under Howard Kendall. I would say re your previous comments that clubs who attempt to build successful teams are acting big, which for the most part Newcastle United haven't done, but we ARE a big club because of our support and the potential, the mackems are also a big club one of the biggest too. It isn't the fault of the supporters waiting for success that the 2 clubs have not been managed well for the most part. Edit. Re the subject of this thread. Leeds Utd were very successful under Don Revie, and Notts Forest were under Clough. The managers made them progressive clubs and successful ones but it doesn't mean they are bigger clubs. Neither of those clubs are among the biggest in the country, despite the fact that they had periods when they won cups including the title. These achievements were in spite of not even filling their smaller grounds, which tells you everything. Newcastle would fill an 80,000 stadium with home support alone if they won things, we would have done it in the Keegan years to proveit, and the mackems would fill a big stadium too. Exactly which smashes the Yorkshiremans argument to pieces. They done a survey in 1997, and I remember Douglas Hall saying the results of their survey suggested Newcastle would have no trouble filling a 100,000 capacity stadium if they could maintain the relative levels of success (challenging for the title/CL) they had then. That utterly blows everyone out of the water other than Man Utd, and possibly Arsenal. You compare that to Leeds and I find it insulting there is a comparison in those terms. As for Sniffer's point about mismanagement and nearly stories, everyones aware of all of them, it doesn't change the fact we will always be a far far bigger and more significant club locally and nationally than t'Leeds Yowhnaatud. I've never heard the story about Francis Lee before, but my dad told me a story that Cloughie was once quoted as saying he would've walked to Newcastle to become our manager. We've always been THE sleeping giant of the English game by a million miles since the fifties, everyones aware of it and comparisons with a nothing club like Leeds I find disrespectful in the extreme. Stopped reading there tbh
  9. Don't see what the problem is tbh James is a superior keeper to Harper and talk of a testimonial for someone who, for the most of their career, has been happy to sit on his arse and collect his wages rather than show any kind of ambition is taking the piss a bit anyway. Just checked wiki and 185 league appearances in 17 years
  10. I don't need to Danny, we've known it's been you ever since you signed up with it last year. Been wondering how long it'd take you to use it mind. is it true that you can switch between firefox and IE and be undetectable by IP ? No. LM devastated he cant use his NE5 account in his piss-boring online bickering. Quite how he would even know how to make his IP undetectable, considering he can't even do the computer equivalent of tie his own shoelaces is beyond me tbh.
  11. What difference does it make? It's only a shirt. Far worse players than Carroll have worn it in the past.
  12. Haha no chance. Katy Perry's chebs aren't that big
  13. Some of the press are blatantly going after the NP over this one. Sunday Mirror Wtf is with the bit in bold? How about a killer of one and a severe wounding of two. Also, one of the three he abused and was the reason he was locked up in the first place.
  14. tbf the SMB is unified in thinking their fans were utter angels in their scuffle with the NP at central. But we're the deluded ones.
  15. ITV still going on about the Suarez handball. Fucking give it a rest.
  16. Gazza - "Raoul is a great bloke" http://www.realradionortheast.co.uk/player...-live/h48fjksz/
  17. Apparently Gazza has brought with him a cooked chicken, a can of lager and a dressing gown. To think some people want to give this utter cretin a job at Newcastle.
  18. What an utter embarrassment of a man Gazza is if the sources are true.
  19. Not one defender in there tells a story tbh
  20. Butch Dingle from Emmerdale? Useless fact: He also used to do Gerry Adams' voice when it was dubbed over.
  21. Just kick both teams out and give Germany a bye to the final. This is appalling.
