  1. Aye. Classic patronising psychology tends to suggest that person is deeply insecure. xDI if that helps you understand Dave ๐Ÿ˜›
  2. I think you get about 16m euros for qualifying and then its 2.8m Euros for a win (1m euros for a draw). I remember it being about ยฃ1m per win when we had our last run.
  3. its really nothing like that at all. I was just raising an observation that we might not get a better chance for a couple of seasons. Of course the owners most likely have a long term plan and may not even see this as an issue. As I said though, im happy either way.
  4. Im completely chilled. I enjoy us just TRYING again. Im enjoying the ride with no real expectations. The feel good factor is back and im caring again. The leadership (both on football side and commercial side) have been pretty much superb since they came in. I have no criticism of them. It was merely and observation. On a side note. We might well be stronger but other teams might well be stronger. Hence my theory this could have perhaps been a chance missed.
  5. Its definitely not bollocks and I caveated it with I don't know the financial situation (we may well have tried). I just think it could end up being missed opportunity as if we dont make it this year the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool aren't going to be as shit next season. Spurs will likely improve and Man U are on a upward trajectory as well.
  6. I think we've missed a big chance to go for the CL this season. I obviously don't know the NUFC accounts so it may not have been possible to blow a load of cash. Spurs are shit. Liverpool were stuttering but now look good again. Chelsea could easily go on a good run now. We now have loads of other teams sniffing around us - Brighton, Brentford and Fulham so its going to be a fun run in. I'm totally happy with the direction of the club and its just so enjoyable watching a team play on the front foot but feel like there was a gap for us to sneak in this year, which is closing by the game.
  7. I donโ€™t normally mind them In the studio (although they were very unprofessional on this occasion) but colour commentators should be neutral. Carragher was audibly cackling when the 6th and 7th went in.
  8. I don't think Gordon will work as a wing back. In fact, I was surprised by his starting position via Man City. It was a bit high up and Burn barely got any protection from him.
  9. Does anyone know what happened to him?
  10. You factor in the old xH (heart) variable to get a more realistic value.
  11. Meanwhile the headline in the sun is "Quadruple dream in tatters" ๐Ÿ˜† They have a goal difference of +6. They just scrape games because they have Rashford playing like Pele.
  12. On a side note. We've tried this launch a freekick from the half way line trick all season and have zero goals from it. Probably time to retire that
  13. Don't let that get in the way of a good story
  14. Everton and Dyche are a match made in heaven. Scouse Mackems have delusions of grandeur with all this "Everton way" bollocks. They've only ever been mildly effective when they've been pragmatic like Moyes era or the dirty dogs of war.
  15. Agree with that. Murphy is a championship player at best - although he does seem to have his tail up at the minute. We don't have any natural goalscorer in the team especially when Wilson is off form. I keep beating the drum about Maddison but he knows where the goal is and can also create. Essentially the players have done superbly to get us here but we'll need more goals next season. ideally you want 10+ from your wingers and 20+ from your main striker(s), with the central midielders chipping in as well (which bruno could do if he had someone that could play his position)
  16. Arsenal seem to get over the line all of the time. Pricks. Spurs look crap every time ive watched them. They just seem to rely on set pieces. Can't see them making the top 4.
  17. I think we'll sit back today (low block to the hipsters) and soak up the pressure. Hopefully Big Jamal isn't asked to play out from the back and do what he is good at. Crunching people and heeding the ball out.
  18. I think it was dependent on them getting promoted. Which looks unlikely now. I feel for ShortStaff though. He has had a bad injury as his contract runs down.
  19. A couple of goals will get him going. Can't see those goals coming though ๐Ÿ˜
  20. Don't think so. He is 21 and has only played one PL game as sub for West Ham so can't be that highly rated. Eddie said he needed to build up his fitness when we signed him a month ago and he still isn't anywhere near a squad. Glad to be proved wrong of course.
  21. Maybe Scotland will be his destination. I can see him in a Hibs top.
  22. Dummet, M. Longshaft, Ritche, Gillespie., Karius Ciaran Clark will all be gone in the summer at the end of the contracts. We are stuck with Hayden, Lewis and Murphy for a while. Can't see us shifting them unless its on loan.
  23. Will Ashby ever get some game time? I suspect he might never play for us.
  24. I did think similar but he is useful in a few positions so will be a good squad player.
