1. I went to school with a Christopher Cook - surely not the same person... 108227 Pretty common name tbh.
2. I know Parker is a good player. Watch a video of his performances for Charlton in 2003. Then watch him now. Completely different player. At Charlton the team was built round him more or less, he was their drive, their Lampard, their Gerrard, running forward, having shots on goal. Now he just dances in the centre circle, and snaps people. 108188 Maybe he is told to hold the midfield?
3. And a follow up from a Newcastle fan: It's amazing how not many people see this. I only wish we still had Woody, their partnership would be one of the best in England. The sort of mentality that backed Souness for so long - "It's not his fault, really". 108147 I'm saying nowt about Souness. But it's just annoying when you hear people come out with this stuff about Boumsong when it's becoming more and more evident that the bloke is not a good defender. I don't doubt that he's suffering from a massive lack of confidence, but he doesn't look capable of coming out the other side of it....at least not at Newcastle. When he gets the ball in to feet these days he panics, the crowd panics, and he panics some more. We've got to get rid in the summer. 108149 Who would be mad enough to buy him ? 108152 Lyon bought that Cris fella. Now he is even in the Brazil squad.
4. funniest thing you have ever said. Nice work.
5. I'm praying for an equaliser.
6. Seems like he cant be arsed to be me. Hope we get the money back on him in the summer.
7. What does a Director of Football actually do? Never understood.
8. I can imagine he would fit in quite well at Misfit Wanderers.
9. I think the key word is improvement. Players are human. I can remember saying Olivier Bernard was absolute gash. 12 months later he was brilliant and my favourite player. 107648 And now he's gash again 107651 Yeah, but I bet he has a Bentley
10. I dont even bother answering my home phone now. Just let it ring out. The only people to use it are me mutha or sales calls.
11. Football365.com hate Jenas as well.
12. Probably working on commission. It can be tough at times especially if your job is on the line by hitting targets. Still WAY out of order though. Doesn't deserve a job.

14. Apologies, I read the words "4 to 5 years", not 6 months. 107525 well if we are going to be picky i said 4-5 seasons. granted my choice of phrases wasnt best, i should have said those players didnt make a real impact in their first 6 months, which is what we are talking about with ramage. however, terry and schevchenko did do very little for the first few seasons. To steer the argument away from those players lets mention frank lampard instead? Look at his first season at west ham compared to last seasons performances?! 107579 Have I missed your point here? Lampard has improved yes. But he was always better than Ramage in the first place. I'm still waiting for your facts btw 107602 Lampard was sooooo average. In fact I believe he was getting booed at certain times during his West Ham stint because he was overweight, slow, lazy etc etc. People think the best players were always GREAT. Short memories tbh.
15. Think it might include his stints at Watford etc. Can't really remember tbh.
16. Yeah, but his goalscoring record was on par with about Chopras at the same age. (i think nufc.com did a stats comparison ealier this year) He didn't do much that season. He was only 17 mind. I agree with J69's sentiments. Taylor can do no wrong whilst Rambo is regarded less highly. All because of hype IMO.
